This is a quiet, adults-only campsite located behind a popular pub serving excellent food and drink. Pitches are generally well-marked, level, and spacious. Facilities are reported as clean, though some mention them as dated and suggest improvements to the shower block. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. Electric grass touring pitch
Liked A lovely little stop over in the grounds of an even lovelier pub the cross keys inn.
Has all you need for a stay fresh water waste disposal and electric hook up.
Staff friendly and welcoming.
Pitches well marked out and level even on grass good pitch and we visited in the coldest snap January 2026.
Take time to eat and have a few drinks in the pub the food is really tasty, I had fish chips peas which were delicious and my partner had duck then on Sunday we tucked into a lovely roast dinner. Everyone was friendly staff and locals. We will visit again next time we are in the area.
Disliked Our only gripe and it's tiny more us than the site, electricity was off at 10:30, I understand as leaving is 11am so it focus people to get a move on but it would have been helpful if we had been made aware before hand. No wifi in grounds that we where not aware of but definitely wifi in the pub.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The food in the pub was amazing. The staff were very friendly couldn’t do enough. We loved the trivia pursuits cards on the table had a great game while waiting for food. The showers in the ladies were amazing so hot best I have had.
It was also so good to see the pub raising so much for charity, I bought a knitted Santa for my van in aid of guide dogs.
Disliked The pitches weren’t marked very clear but that’s a bit picky.

Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Excellent spot, decent price and we were only there for one night but would have been happy with more. Location was good, facilities small but nice. Pitch was flat and with the electric a comfortable stay. Resturant/pub is lovely, our food was amazing. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stop here again.
Disliked Our only slight negative was that our pitch had a couple of poles on the floor when we arrived, none of the others seemed to. Didn’t really affect anything but just a bit messy on first impression.

Really good site with associated quality pub.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Wasn’t find and easy to access site. All facilities are good. Food in pub is high quality. Beer is excellent.
Disliked Would be a good idea to leave one of the external toilets open overnight for ease of access rather than just rely the single one inside just in case more than one person is desperate!!
Only limited number of non electric pitches so had to pay extra for an electric one I can’t use.
