Liked: We enjoyed our stay at the Porlock Vale Campsite! The grass was well kept, the shower and bathrooms were very clean, and it was nice to have the washing up area. We met Dawn in the morning and she was lovely! A great spot to stay for exploring in Exmoor.

Liked: What not to like about the site very peaceful, lovely views it as everything you would want for a weekend away . The owners are lovely if you want to relax and unwind this site is for you but be quick the site closes on 7th September
Disliked: Only thing I would say the site does not open long enough only from middle of July to start of September sad face

From the manager: Thank you Richard - and also for the lovely pictures! Currently, the pop up campsite rules only allow us to open for 60 days, so our last night has to be 8 Sept this season. We're sad to have to close so early too, as it's really heartening to see how much people enjoy relaxing in this beautiful space, which is so well located to explore Exmoor's wonderful walking and cycling. On the other hand, it's been great to be able to open for 60 days and the campers have been fantastic. Look forward to seeing you both again.

Disliked: Not really disliked but hot washingredients up water would have been nice

As you know, there's no electricity on the campsite and the shower is powered by its own boiler, so bringing hot water to the washing up area is a bit tricky. However, watch this space - we'll get our thinking caps on!

Liked: We had the best time at porlock vale campsite! Not crowded and the views are incredible. A perfect base for exploring on bikes with lots of routes to cycle in and out from the campsite. Can’t wait for our visit next year!

Liked: The peace and quiet, lots of wildlife, hearing the owls at night. Plenty of space to choose where you want to pitch. Nice hot shower. Facilities kept clean and regularly maintained. Lots of walk on the doorstep.
Disliked: Nothing we didn't like!

Liked: Beautiful quiet campsite with basic, but very clean facilities. Lovely and quiet and massive amount of space. Run by Dawn who is a very friendly accommodating host. Great walking and riding right from the campsite and the coast is not much of a drive. Definitely be going back again.
Disliked: Nothing!
