Great staff, friendly. Felt v relaxed on site. Shop and bar v handy.
Grove electric grass touring pitch (large)
Liked: Friendly atmosphere, good location, pool
Disliked: Pitches v close together and no space for children to run around. This meant that they were constantly being asked by us parents to rein in their behaviour and stay away from other tents.

In all very good
Grove electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Nice site toilet blocks good restaurant & bar good friendly staff didn’t have time to go in pool but looked good, in all enjoyed our short stay would definitely go back
Disliked: Only thing for us we were under a tree to much shade no view & pigeons pooping on van, easy entrance & access only comment a sign to say where entrance is about 150/200 yds before entrance as it’s on you before you know it and it’s a fairly busy road

Too busy for us, but good site for people who don't mind the noise
Strawberry Field electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: We went because the site had a swimming pool, which was fine. The alloted pitch size was pretty generous. My boys enjoyed the play park. Good location for Cheddar.
Disliked: People look for different things in a campsite. This one wasn't for us.
It's a very noisy site. Loud music from the clubhouse until 10pm, which is fine. But after that the site seemed to be full of inconsiderate people talking loudly and letting their kids shout.
The pitches are very close together, even though they're quite large. As a result there's not really any space for the kids to play.
Our pitch wasn't even close to being level, which was irritating.
Toilet blocks were both quite far away, with young kids. Just another small annoyance.
Not really anywhere to walk the dog. The woodland walk is only about 80m long, not really as described.

Very good site, few let downs.
Grove electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked: Easily accessible, things to do near by. Good recommendations and information provided, good pitch size. Options on site. Dog friendly & dog walk on site. Can park by pitch.
Disliked: 2 dogs off lead that ran up to mine. Mine was on a stake lead in the ground and this caused a bit of tension. Although it says dogs must be on lead’s at all times this wasn’t the case. Was a shame.
Children on the site caused a few issues (parents fault), they seemed to be year round not campers.

Liked: The staff at Bucklegrove are very personable and approachable. The indoor swimming pool is great as well. Facilities were kept clean. Great location for walks and touristy stuff. Even the beach is not too far away! Overall, great value for money, we will definitely consider coming again
