The Beech Hut shepherd's hut
Liked Exactly as per the pictures. The hut is in its own enclosed garden which was perfect for letting the dog explore. Great area, with lovely houses to look at and easy to access nearby towns / beach by car. Really enjoyed how peaceful it was sitting out on an evening. The lemon drizzle cake, milk and fresh eggs from their hens was a nice touch - and delicious cake! Judy was a lovely host and great communication.

This is a perfect getaway if you want peace and quiet .
The Beech Hut shepherd's hut
Liked The location was so peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees and a stream running nearby. We sat eating breakfast looking and listening to the variety of different birds that were visiting the bird feeders...wonderful!
The little hut was cosy and warm with a lovely little log burner and a large comfortable bed. It had everything you needed and our dog Jake was able to run around the fenced garden without any restrictions. A perfect little gem that made our 3 day stay over the Xmas period very enjoyable.
Disliked The cooking facilities were rather restricting .We did take our Air frier but having just one hob and one small saucepan limited our ability to cook a variety of vegetables at a time. I think a double hop and larger saucepans would be an advantage .
We didn't want to eat out during this period so we managed with a few adaptations. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

Well equipped shepherds hut, cozy and warm. Perfect place to relax
The Beech Hut shepherd's hut
Liked Very clean and well equipped - toaster, kettle, microwave oven , pots & pans and everything else you might need during your stay. Even milk waiting in the fridge for a cup of tea :)
Heating was on during our stay and it worked really well for the space, we also used wood burner couple of times which was nice.
Cozy warm space to just forget about your worries and relax. Everything you could think of was there, even pillows and blankets for outside chairs were provided which is a lovely touch.
Loved the peaceful setting, selection of tea, cake and biscuits waiting on us when we arrived was really nice.
Disliked That we couldn’t stay longer :( wish it was slightly less expensive so we could stay couple more nights
Also it would be nice to have some lights at the back of the hut , unfortunately I timed my bath wrong and it was too dark to use it as couldn’t really see anything

Lovely setting in a quaint little hamlet surrounded by nature
The Beech Hut shepherd's hut
Liked Stayed in The Beech Hut for a weekend getaway. It’s in an absolutely beautiful setting, with a gentle stream running through an idyllic garden.
There is ample room in the spacious hut with a well stocked kitchenette: fridge, microwave/grill/oven, induction hob, and toaster and kettle. Also had a barbecue which we happily used and an outdoor bath. There is a wood burner, but we didn’t need it in the summer. It got a little chilly overnight but there’s also a little electric radiator which worked very well.
Great for walking, escaping to the countryside, and relaxing in nature.

The Beech Hut shepherd's hut
Liked Good location, lovely garden with little stream which the dog loved. Everything fitted away nicely in the Shepherd's hut but was all there (microwave, hob, shower facilities). Host was friendly and helpful.

The Beech Hut shepherd's hut
Liked Beautiful location. One of the nicest shepards huts I’ve ever stayed in. Microwave and cooking facilities available, but well tucked away and out of sight due to making the most of the space I would imagine. Great night sleep & the bed was really comfy. Gutted we didn’t get to use the outside bathtub as we spent a little longer at a pub a couple of villages along instead & lost track of time. Would love to come back and stay for longer next time. Super lovely and super peaceful with wonderful hosts. Really found a little gem here!
Disliked That we didn’t have the time to stay longer!

The Beech Hut shepherd's hut
Liked Location, immediate surroundings, the garden, the babbling brook, the bird feeders, the fire pit, loved the very comfortable, snuggly bed, the eggs, cake and tea/coffee on arrival, the attention to detail including a dog blanket and towel, and Judy, our wonderful host. This is a beautiful place to stay which we would highly recommend.
