Electric gravel touring pitch
Fully serviced

  • Spacious pitches on the Dorset coast, overlooking Chesil Beach
  • A 10-minute drive to central Weymouth; 15 mins to Isle of Portland
  • On-site bar for drinks and food; play area and playing field
You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Facilities and location great staff.

Disliked Unmanaged play area

Older kids playing havoc our 4 year old could not get a look in. Even though signs stated ages limits and accompanied by adults this was not policed by staff.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Arrival meet and greet was a nice touch. Shop very well stocked and friendly staff. Great facilities that were easy to use. Nice drink at the bar with friendly service. All round very good.

Disliked The older children unsupervised in the play park. Granddaughter came to visit us and was a frightened by the much older children pushing and shoving on the equipment and throwing dirt and bark at each other. Hard to manage I know but just mentioning it for reference.
WiFi a little lacking at times with the sheer volume of people on the site.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Great welcome, very informative and took time to explain everything. Beautiful location with incredibly well stocked shop, dog walking field and access to South west coastal path. Generally very clean and tidy.

Disliked Very long walk to the toilet/shower block. Lots of loos and showers and washing up facilities but all located in one place.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The site is lovely, great sized pitches, well kept and maintained in a great location. Having the shop and bar onsite is a bonus, pizzas were lovely. The family rooms at the facilities blocks are good nice to have some space to change and wash in.
The staff are very friendly too. We had a lovely long weekend.

Disliked Pitch was quite a way from the toilet blocks. The older shower and toilet blocks need a bit of updating.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The location and access to surrounding area and supermarkets. Felt safe and the children were able to roam. Tidy, well kept plots. Great washing facitilies.

Disliked The amenities are quite far from some of the campsite and therefore a way to go with young children. Quiet time of 11pm is quite late when you have small children.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The whole experience was fantastic!
Clean grounds, facilities and site
Lots of space and a variety of choice for children to play and explore
Close to facilities
Resturant has great food to offer, a range of choice and fresh food from the shop too.
Staff are friendly and happy to assist if needed.
Having live entertainment is great too!
Camp site is boomed off for security- great!
Just a wonderful place to stay and will be returning with friends and family!

Disliked If possible, to have a park in both camp areas - allows smaller children the opportunity to play closer to their pitch
Wi-Fi was poor - not much signal

Local attractions

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).
