What customers say
This is a well-located, simple campsite praised for its stunning views, spacious feel, and peaceful atmosphere. Staff are frequently noted as friendly and helpful. While facilities are basic, they are generally considered clean and adequate for the price. Popular with families and solo travellers, it's convenient for exploring Swanage and surrounding areas via bus or foot. Some guests noted uneven ground and the absence of showers and hot water as minor drawbacks.

Really friendly owners, great location. Really great site.
Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Super friendly, had everything for basic camping. Clean toilets. And really good location.

Stripped back camping experience but with lovely and helpful staff.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. They were "fully booked" but they didn't pack people/ groups in so there was still plenty of privacy and space. Simple taps for water and washing up with portaloos on site. Gave us a nice tip about the local butchers and also lent us some bricks to raise our camping stove off the ground.
Disliked The only thing I wasn't a fan of were the portaloos but at least there were 7 or 8 of them available so you never had to wait.

An excellent site, very friendly & helpful staff, with clean toilets.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great location for accessing Swanage with a bus stop at the end of the track.
Very peaceful, if you camp away from the entrance, with a beautiful view & lots of space so you don't feel like you are on top of others.
The toilets were kept immaculately clean and were pleasant to use.
Disliked No hot shower - but there is a cold one if you're willing to brave it!

Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Everything! A beautiful, spacious campsite with spectacular views and 5 minutes from the beach. Even though it was fully booked for the bank holiday weekend, it didn’t feel crowded, and the portaloos and basic washing facilities were more than enough. Can’t recommend enough. Our favourite campsite so far.
