What customers say
This adults-only, family-run campsite offers a "back-to-basics" experience with a focus on simplicity and nature. Visitors consistently praise the clean, modern facilities, particularly the hot, powerful showers. The location is considered ideal for exploring the Purbeck area, with convenient access to Swanage and coastal paths. While many appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and lack of light pollution, some mention occasional road noise from the adjacent A351, which can be mitigated by pitching further into the field. The terrain is described as gently sloping in parts, though flat pitches are generally available, especially if arriving earlier. The site is dog-friendly, and real fires are permitted. A potential drawback for some is the limited number of washing-up stations and drinking water taps, with only cold water available. Manager comments indicate an effort to address feedback, such as making toilet facilities unisex to reduce queues.
