Meadows electric grass touring pitch
Liked: The host of activities and the evening entertainment perfect for our 5 year old! You didn’t need to book swimming which we liked as you could just turn up when it suited.
Disliked: The toilets were not cleaned enough. Due to being busy they got dirty very quickly and stayed like that for a long time. Very disappointing. The showers weren’t great. The shower heads need replacing for a better water flow.

Liked: Bus stop outside gate.
Disliked: newest shower block toilets didnot flush the whole time we were there. Reported it but still the same next few days. Poor food quality, though service was quick. Meal was not very hot. Swimming pool closed too early. If you went out for day, it was closed when you returned so no chance of swim. Would not go again.

Liked: The size of the pitch (189) was great, toilets opposite our pitch so great for quick night wee, plus always saw people trying to keep clean which must be hard when the ground has been so wet. Lots to keep you busy, couldn’t do all as just a short stay this time.
Disliked: The flush on the toilets didn’t work properly so always had something inside them. Plus fee of the locks on the showers didn’t lock. Was hard to know what time the pool was open from even though were given a good guide to the park just had to walk up to see on the door.

Liked: Lovely size pitch with a pleasant view of the woodland. Plenty of entertainment for the children and good access to a lovely part of Dorset.
Disliked: Sadly our visit was marred by an incredibly loud family in the pitches behind. At 0200 they were screaming and shouting in a heated argument regarding a cocaine habit. The argument continued till 0400 with significant screaming and shouting with no sign of any staff member to de-escalate or deal with the abhorrent family. There is also a drugs problem in the park with a strong whiff of Cannabis all over the place. The shower block that we used was in rather poor condition with missing panelling, toilet and shower doors unable to close and lock and showers that did not work. Many of the toilets appear to be blocked and the men's toilets in the main reception are possibly some of the smelliest I have ever come across.

Liked: Staff were pleasant.
Disliked: Shower block with no water pressure, the other we found had no hot water in the morning. Not the sites fault, but really noisy, entirely too many drunken inconsiderate idiots! Was the cheapest place we stayed at all week, but felt like it!

Liked: Close to washrooms
Disliked: The pitch we were given under a tree and was very muddy and not at all flat even though there was plenty of other grassy level and not under trees when the sun came out after the first day lasted all week not a bit of sunshine under the tree also someone helped themselves to our hook up cable went to office to complain and a nice lady there lent us one

Liked: Rachel on Reception Closeness of the disabled toilet
Disliked: Oh my goodness not sure where to start. On arrival it was chaotic, and we were not given any instructions of how things worked. The loo’s would not flush which means you have to go to the toilet on a used un flushed loo. In the disabled toilet there was long black hair in the shower plug hole for three days. No plug in the bath. Water tepid. The people in the caravans next to us had incredibly loud music on until after 10.30 at night and I had to Call the park twice before they did anything. My disabled daughter and I went to play bingo and I was categorically told that we could split the ticket. I was told that bingo ticket was void and it was £9. When I asked to talk to a manager it took 36 hours to actually talk to him and then I felt very unheard as he replied that his staff did not advise my to split the Bingo ticket, so in effect he was calling me a liar. I also told him that his activities were upstairs and there was no lift for my daughter, This is not a place that you can take disabled people. We will never go back.

Liked: One of the best family holiday parks we have stayed at. All staff we came into contact with, bookings, reception, the boathouse were cheerful, helpful and understood what great customer experience was. Facilities, toilets / showers were modern & clean. Children's activities were outstanding. Overall 10 out of 10.
Disliked: We were in a touring campervan. The pitch was a good size but couldn't understand why only a side awning was allowed? We have a back awning which is vital in a smaller van to keep equipment in. Why can you not have two awnings if they fit in pitch? Confused & the only disappointment.
