Liked: The site was quiet, clean and friendly. The toilets and showers were checked and cleaned regularly and were nice. The wildlife area and duck pond were super, we picnicked on the bench while watching the ducks. Our dog was made to feel very welcomed too.
Disliked: Nothing

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked: Really enjoyed the stay, the condition of the park were good. The toilet blocks where cleaned on a daily basis. The park is clean in general and well kept, the staff is friendly and the areas are large enough so people don't stay on top of each other.
Disliked: Unfortunately even though we confirm the time of arrival the reception closes from 11am-4pm which is odd as is a long time in the middle of the day. When we arrive and because the park is big, we couldn't easily find where was our allocated area and was no one to ask, therefore we asked other people that were staying the park. When we finish put everything up, someone from the staff shows up and tell us we were in the wrong area, but luckily we weren't the only ones as when we arrived some people were already there and others came after and parked closed by, so we were allow to stay in that area for the 2 nights, which was a relief and nice of them. But I think the indications for the grass pitches are not clear enough.

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked: Great facilities and felt safe for my little toddler on site. Clean toilets and showers. Liked having a family friend shower too
Disliked: The duck pond was lovely except there was an electric fence around it which was low and quite dangerous for young children (slightly defeated the purpose as an attraction for families!)

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked: For first time campers I found everything ok. The toilets and showers were clean and regularly checked. The pitch was big enough for kids to play.
Disliked: Not necessarily disliked but because of the location of the camp near a farm there was a smell of cow poo near our pitch.

Liked: Beautiful peaceful campsite with very clean toilets and showers and kitchen sinks. Available friendly staff specifically super Mark who is very caring and kind. Definitely recommend this campsite.
Disliked: Not much of restrictions for cars as some cars where driving by your tent to go to toilet after midnight!

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked: The different areas of the park: static caravans, towing caravans, bell tents and camping meadow for tents. Shower/toilet and laundry block very clean and not too far away from camping meadow. Lovely big area for children to ride bikes and play I, dog meadow for off the lead exercise, duck pond and park the children really loved.

Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked: Sandyholme was a very welcoming, well-laid-out site. The pitches were a good size, and we had plenty of space. The showers and all the facilities were lovely and clean, with loads of hot water and no time-limited shower! Easy check-in via a code for the barrier, tranquil this time of year, and lots of static and seasonal caravans which were all well kept.
