What customers say
This peaceful, adult-only campsite offers spacious, private pitches with lovely countryside and lake views. Facilities are consistently described as clean and well-maintained, including hot showers and a communal fridge/freezer. Campfires are permitted, adding to the cosy atmosphere. While some find the access roads narrow, and a few mention occasional maintenance issues, the tranquil setting and excellent value for money make it a highly recommended and frequently revisited destination.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful place. Very quiet, value for money and gorgeous views. Really enjoyed our stay, the pitches are perfectly spaced out and the showers/ wash up area are literally a 2 minute walk away. Its perfect for doggies and i can imagine the weather being nicer would be lovely. Will 100% be staying here again. The fridge freezer was a massive plus for us to be staying longer next time. Be aware that the roads are very narrow getting to the site which may be more of a problem for van/camper's. All round a great stay 😍

Badger's Retreat shepherd's hut (ensuite)
Liked Absolutely loved staying here and will definitely return.
The peace and quiet was priceless and we enjoyed some lovely walks down to charmouth and the golden cap .
And not to mention the pub on the way back for a delicious steak and a pint .and also the farm shop to stock up on some tasty snacks.
And we also managed two barbecues when the decide to stop 🤗

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely camp site - the way the pitches are spaced out gave an element of privacy, especially with the hedgerows between.
Facilities were clean and tidy, and the added bonus of some WiFi was a pleasant surprise.
Nice and quiet despite all the outside pitches in use, and the scenery was lovely too!
Disliked Nothing.

Liked I could not find the site and my sat nav kept telling me to leave the car park. After several attempts to locate the site I gave up and went to another.

We enjoyed our stay overall
Badger's Retreat shepherd's hut (ensuite)
Liked The view, the lake, the picnic table in the outside space, how cute the shepard's hut was and the location.
Disliked The wobbly sink tap, the front window that wouldn't close (which meant we had to carry most of our belongings in and out everyday) and the fact that when I stripped the sheet off for you at the end I found that the mattress was mouldy.
