A delightful stay!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked What's not to love? This place has such a fantastic atmosphere. We stayed here a couple times in 2021, and wow, the place has flourished since then! The greenery growing through the sculptures is a lovely touch, along with the live music and paella night. More toilets and showers have been added which is a great addition.
The pitches are well kept, with a good amount of spacing between. Very clean facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. And a good array of produce to buy in the shop, including the tasty array of ciders.
We will be back as soon as we can!
Disliked Narrow to get to, but that can't be helped and it's what you would expect ey?

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Loved camping in the orchard and being woken by bird song and surrounded by trees. Loved tasting all the different ciders on site too and enjoyed the music on Saturday night.
Disliked The listing did say each pitch was 12 metres wide but I think they meant 12 ft. They are extremely long but there wasn't much room for our roof tent. Although new showers and toilets are being built the current facilities weren't quite up to the purpose of catering for an almost full campsite. We repeatedly had cold/lukewarm showers, there was nowhere to hang clothes/towels in shower cubicles and there wasn't enough paper towels to dry hands at sinks.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked As an 81 year old backpacker/rambler, I am an unlikely visitor from London ! But I had three great days here in the sunshine and 'the Boss' did everything he could to make my stay enjoyable. Many thanks. (and for reviving my interest in superb cider!)

Great and unique campsite with delicious cider and cosy taproom!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The setting is fantastic and unique, on site cider bar with lots of delicious options, the wood burning stove inside is a life saver for soggy camping trips. Good toilet facilities that serve the bar and the campsite. Location is really quiet and remote. 2 on site dogs that liked to visit each camp (though they will look to be fed!) Garden with picnic benches and garden games to keep you entertained.
Disliked Only 2 showers, one relying on limited hot water and ran out of hot water very quickly in the morning.

From the manager: Hi there Rupert
We`re really glad you enjoyed your stay at the Orchard camping.
As you may have seen, we`re quite excited and very nearly finished with our new bathroom block which will provide an additional 4 showers and 5 bathrooms to the current series of bathrooms, showers and facilities.
Do tell us if there are issues with hot water showers in future visits, they have a direct hot water system so shouldn't have run out like that.
Really glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

From the manager: Hi there
Really Glad you enjoyed your stay with us Orchard camping, we like offering a quiet relaxing experience.
We offer large 16 foot wide by over 200foot long pitch rows, allowing pitches to be as spread out from each other as they like.
Some people DO snore incredibly loud and this can in exceptionally rare instances carry through the tranquil, quiet setting.
Really glad you enjoyed your stay, look forward to welcoming you back.

Liked Great to have a row of the orchard per pitch. Lovely Ciders from the bar, and peaceful setting. Fire pit was available on the pitch to use.
Disliked No dogs allowed but owners dogs wandering around people's tents looking for food.
Limited showers but hopefully once new shower block finished this will improve.

Liked Lovely pitches and location in amongst an apple orchard. Lovely ciders as well. Lots of seating outside the shop which also had a nice seating area inside too. Stayed at this location for the Melplash Show which was a short drive away.
