What customers say
This is a consistently well-regarded site, praised for its exceptional cleanliness, immaculately maintained grounds, and friendly, helpful staff. Pitches are generally spacious and well-kept. Facilities, particularly showers and toilets, are frequently described as spotless and modern. Its quiet atmosphere and location near the river are highlights, with easy access to local transport for exploring Bournemouth and the New Forest. Recent reviews note the availability of a cafe and a French shop, adding to the amenities. Minor points include occasional requests for more pitch privacy and a comment about shower temperature control.

Excellent but only if you can specify your pitch
Electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Excellent facilities. Very clean. Great spot for getting to Boscombe/Bournemouth. Lovely walks from site. Plenty of hot water. Friendly staff.
Disliked The pitch. It was the strip of grass verge that runs along the site internal road. Had no option but to park sideways on or would have poked out onto road which meant our view was someone’s back garden fence. Only enough room then for chairs in order to sit outside. We were only there for 2 nights so just got on with it but if it was main holiday would not have been happy. If you have kids it’s a no go on there. They have 6 spots on the verge they’re classing as pitches which to be honest feels a bit of a money spin.

Liked Fantastic Site, spotlessly clean and tidy. Great location.
Disliked Bus service remote (at weekends) and probably need another shower/toilet block for users remote from the current building.
