What customers say
Visitors consistently praise Vennlake for its peaceful, quiet atmosphere and the exceptional friendliness of the owners. Accommodations are described as well-equipped, clean, and offering good value for money, with many highlighting the cosy and characterful nature of the lodges and bunkhouses. The location is considered excellent, being both rural and conveniently close to local amenities. While most guests had no complaints, a few minor points mentioned include steep steps to sleeping areas, occasional noise from the fridge affecting sleep, and the need for more hooks for wet towels. Overall, a highly recommended site for a relaxing break.

Liked Loved our stay in the kingfisher cabin. It was very well equipped.
There is a playing feild across the road.
Site owner was lovely and came and introduced himself.
Coop is in walking distance and a lovely garden centre just up the road which does nice food/coffee etc.
Disliked Bathroom had a slight damp smell. But the bathroom was fine with a nice shower which ran very well. Hot water all the time.
Not much to dislike. Everything you could need for a nice break away.

Liked The customer service. (The bed was fixed the morning after reported.)
The location/setting, amazing to see so may stars at night.
The reasonable price.
Having 2 chalets meant whole family could stay in one place.
Disliked The bed breaking in one chalet the first night so my daughter & partner had to sleep on the floor on the first night as it was too late to fix. The sewage smell in the same chalet so my daughter wouldn't stay in it for the 2nd night unfortunately.

From the manager: Thanks for the feed back. Curious why they felt they had to sleep on the floor when there is set of bunk beds in the same space. All has been rectified.
