Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked: Lovely view from pitch, nice area generally Very nicely kept grassy pitch and generally tidy site. Clean but very basic, toilets and showers with hot water. As stated, basic camping. We stayed out of season ( June) so only about five other caravan/ camping units there. This was a nice site for short stay but sadly we wouldn't go back at height of season as I don't think the three shower cubicles and two loos would cope with lots of campers and their messy ways. Site owner did seem to take pride in the facilities. Lovely cafe/ restaurant called Sea Shanties at beach. Great food. ( Be aware of VERY STEEP walk back from beach)
Disliked: Paid £12 for EHU. Tripped constantly so didn't use as we'd hoped. Although a great view of the hills, we were positioned at the far end of an almost empty site and told ' the bad news is, it's a long walk to the loos'. Might have been nice to choose. Couldn't find where to empty waste water on way out Make shift ' Elsan' point...had to manually lift manhole cover. Gaps in loo and shower doors...a bit disconcerting. Possibly not as good value as other sites but ok. (Public footpaths nearby...gates tied up with rope)

Liked: Leaving and finding another beautiful spot
Disliked: I hate to give a bad review but this rude irrational woman deserves one! It doesn’t even deserve one star! My partner and I had booked a 1 night stay, and arrived at 6.30 believing the check in to be between 2 and 8! Unfortunately it turned out to be 6pm.. so that’s my mistake but we arrived to the most shockingly rude arrival! The lady who met us started shouting at my partner stating that we were late and she had tried to call! Reception isn’t great in some locations so the call didn’t go through! She then proceeded to state that ‘we all want to go to the beach but some of us have to work’. After the frosty greeting she then explained that there was no room for us, despite us paying for a spot! She said she would try to make room and then rudely said we would just have to park up in the middle of a grass area. She then started shouting abuse through the window about us being late and that she can’t have people rocking up at 10!! Bear in mind it was 6.30, so we were only 30 mins late and we apologised for the mistake! I was so shocked I couldn’t even speak… my jaw just dropped! She then said we had to leave and she would refund our money! I am yet to receive a refund… I am shocked and appalled that she can treat her customers like this! How can she be allowed to deal with public with such a bad attitude! I was pleased to leave! I would not recommend to anyone unless you like to be spoken to like rubbish and want your break ruined! I had read a few shocking reviews but didn’t expect to experience this firsthand! Fortunately, we found a beautiful place to stay last minute at Browns farm caravan park! It was about 13 miles away and a 30 minute drive but I would have walked that far to not have to stay anywhere near that vile woman! Browns farm was beautiful and Stuart was so polite, friendly and accommodating especially as it was a last minute booking! Cannot recommend his place enough and will definitely be back!

Liked: Nice space, not busy so plenty of playing space. Good views and great location. Amenities were great.
Disliked: Long walk from the furthest field to the toilets and showers. (But I did choose to be by hedge so it was sheltered). The booking of 1 person and tent was the same as 3 people and car.

Electric grass tent pitch (three person)
Liked: Fairly close to Beer, but you'd have to drive
Disliked: We were 'welcomed' to the site by Lyndsey aggressively commenting to another guest regarding their dogs barking. The dogs were small puppies, probably nervous of our vehicle and did not bother us at all, but Lyndsey's manner did. She was really abrupt and rude to the woman, but was overly friendly to us - very weird and surprising. It was really awkward and such a shocking way to run a business. We almost left right then. As the family tried to protest at being spoken to so rudely, Lyndsey loudly threatened the family with being asked to leave and swore in front of young children. Later a male member of staff continued speaking to the other family in a rude and intimidating way. We felt uncomfortable by the whole drama that we left after only having been there 20 mins to put up a tent, and went into Seaton for an hour or so, came back, went to bed and left early in the morning. We didn't hear the dogs again so they weren't very barky at all. I am not surprised that under any negative reviews they have responded with 'you didn't complain to us at the time' - if you complained you'd 100% end up being shouted at and who knows if you'd make it out alive! A VERY weird place and no we will NOT be returning! PS. No animals we could see No sea view from the electric hook up tent paddock (they could trim down the nettles / hedge and then you'd see it) Basic facilities which were fine for us for one night
