Welbeck offers a peaceful, family and dog friendly site in the quaint village of Sparkwell. With spacious hardstanding pitches, an ideal spot for guests seeking a quiet pit stop for exploration. Spend your days exploring by foot or bike nearby National Trust trails like Plymbridge Woods or Dartmoor, enjoy a classic beach day at one of the many nearby coastal spots, or visit Dartmoor Zoo close enough to hear the lions roar. Welbeck is also only 20 minute drive to Plymouth and Brittany Ferries making us a popular stopover for those travelling to and from Europe. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventure or a peaceful escape, the location has something for everyone with stunning views of the South Hams and opportunities for guests to unwind on the hotel terrace or enjoy a friendly game of golf or crocket. The excellent onsite restaurant and bar serves a range of locally-sourced meals, from dinners to afternoon teas, with an ever-changing menu to keep things fresh. Guests also receive a 10% discount on both the restaurant and bar during their stay. Dogs are welcome on the site however please ensure they are kept on their lead. Guests have access to black (green chemicals) and grey water disposal plus drinking water and electric hook available on 4 pitches. The site is open 365 days per year, with the goal of welcoming and encouraging visitors to engage yet have their own space and peace; the focus is the continual development of the camping area.

A cable measuring at least 30 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
Reception is unmanned after 10 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 2 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

General

Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 30 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
Minimum spacing of 6 metres between pitches.

Reception

Reception is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. between 01/01 and 31/12.
Reception is unmanned after 10 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Open fires are prohibited.
