What customers say
This beautiful, quiet, and well-kept campsite is praised for its stunning rural location, close to beaches and coastal paths. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and spacious pitches. Facilities, including clean showers and toilets, are generally good, with helpful additions like freezers and phone charging points. Some guests highlight the isolated location and narrow access lanes. Lack of phone signal is noted but often seen as a positive for a digital detox. Occasional comments mention shower drainage and cleanliness, but overall feedback is highly positive.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Quiet and very attractive site. Good facilities . Close to Mill Bay
Disliked Can be windy. Quite a long walk to facilities for the furthest pitches and facilities would be too small if busy

Fantastic site
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Fantastic location. Close to Salcombe and East Portlemouth. Site was well kept and generous sized plots given. Toilets and showers are a little dated but electric shower was great and hot. Phone signal was spotty at times. I had better reception than my partner. So I suppose it depends on your network. Freezers were provided so could freeze the ice packs. Place to charge phones and a washing machine if needed. Would definitely recommend.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked A relaxed, back to basics campsite. It provides spacious pitches and is really quiet after 10pm. The facilities are well maintained and the farmer and staff really helpful when our van didn't start on the day we were leaving.
Disliked No telephone signal.

Back to basics in a stunning setting.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Beautiful setting for a campsite, one of the best we've stayed at. Run by very helpful and friendly people, We fished in the lake, did the 2 mile walk to the local, gorgeous, beach and really enjoyed the peaceful setting.
Disliked A fridge would have been helpful but we managed with a rotation of iceblocks and a coolie bin. The shower drains sometimes backed up but were soon cleared when owners were notified.

Liked Beautiful spot , not over crowded and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Showers were piping hot and facilities clean. A great location for coastal path walking, but also for nearby beaches.
