What customers say
This site boasts a stunning coastal location with breathtaking views, a private cove, and proximity to local attractions. Guests frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, good on-site amenities including the clubhouse and food. However, a significant number of reviews highlight the dated and often unclean toilet and shower facilities, with some pitches described as uneven or poorly located.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Site has lots to do and is in a great location. Had plenty of space on the pitches, was only 5 pitches altogether. Lovely little cove that is accessible from the site privately.
Disliked Toilets and showers are looking abit tired, not sure if this is because there isn't many touring anymore.

Would not recommend it to anyone
Electric grass pitch
Liked The club house was nice staff were friendly. The views were absolutely breathtaking
Disliked The pitch was a bit of grass in the middle of a car park and for the price of the pitch very disappointing. The shower and toilet block smelt and was long over due an up grade. It was really dinged and not all of the lights worked.

very nice site in a good location Shame about the toilet block
Electric grass pitch
Liked Campsite was very well looked after and clean
Excellent location for coombe Martin and ilfracombe and surrounding areas
Bus stop right outside entrance
Disliked Toilet block facilities worst I have had in 15 years of touring . Went for a fortnight stay , no soap in hand dispenser no bins emptied for full duration of stay ( asked for soap to be put into dispenser at reception ) still no soap on departure
Nowhere to place clothing etc while in showers
Also could do with separate dog walk section , touring field very small for tents and caravan users but dogs from the static caravans and visiting cars fouling touring field , which children also use as a play area
Would not return purely because of condition of toilet block and lack of cleaning

Beautiful scenery and a nicet park. Camping facilities need an update
Electric grass pitch
Liked Beautiful view of the Devon coast. Nice flat even pitch. Friendly staff. Suitable pool area. Would stay again but not for more than one or two nights.
Disliked The toilet and shower facilities were quite poor. Smelt damp, very dark and extremely dated. I never saw them cleaned and the position of the block was not great nor close to the camping area.

Electric grass pitch
Liked A warm welcome, small homely site, food was freshly cooked by a lovely chef, a few amenities on site, fairly quiet, was exactly what we needed. Site was clean and well kept.
Disliked Lack of bench/hanging space in showers.

We had a great time despite not being able to use pool. Will stay again
Electric grass pitch
Liked Site was clean, staff were really nice and really helpfull, location was perfect, toilet and showers were kept clean,
Onsite washing up part and waste removal.
Pitches were a good size.
On site food was perfect, tasty and good size portions, and they have a children's indoor small play area keep kids distracted.
Disliked Pool despite it meant to be heated was too cold to be in was told heater cover didn't arrive in time, not enough chairs and tables in function room for the amount of people on site

Love the site, the location and friendly staff.
Electric grass pitch
Liked When we arrived the staff in reception were very polite and helpful, they had seen we had booked two pitches at different times and put us together which was extremely kind, we had a great stay the site was clean and welcoming, pitch sizes were large. We had a lovely stay.
Disliked The only thing that could have made it made it better was to have an extra hook in the showers and a seat.
