General

  • Peaceful, secluded and relaxing site on the north Devon coast
  • Well-stocked private fishing lake
  • Close to beaches and to Exmoor

Off to Devon for watery pursuits? Mill Park Touring Caravan and Camping Park has a well-stocked private fishing lake on site, and is only a mile or so from the north Devon surf spot of Ilfracombe. Both sand and pebble beaches are also within a short walk – and there's a bar on site too which overlooks the Mill Park stream...

Mill Park is a sheltered site suited to families and couples, set in a wooded valley on the north Devon coast and surrounded by woodland for woody walks (yep, dogs are welcome too). It's close to Exmoor as well as the north Devon coast and is just a five-minute walk from the nearest village.

As well as that fishing lake and the stream-facing bar, facilities at Mill Park include a play area, games room and a launderette. Gas bottle refills and ice pack hire are available and there's also a site shop.

Please note

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Please note that anyone wishing to fish at Mill Park must hold a current UK rod fishing licence. You will be asked to show your licence before being given a ticket so please bring it with you.

.This site is beautiful friendly and well run. It is immaculate everywhere very obvious the owners take pride in their work. The toilet and shower block behind reception was a joy to use. The showers are so lovely and warm with plenty of room to dry and get dressed. Good powerful hairdryer provided us girls love all of that. Plenty of room at your pitch and easy access to the drinking water taps throughout the site.
The river running through the site is so pretty and the lake looks amazing. Very well stocked bar at the Bent Peg and lots of comfy seats to make you want to sit a while. I was introduced to a lovely white rum whilst there that is now my new favourite. Had a lovely plateful of checken wings and wedges on our first night, were welcome rather than cooking.

Good location for walking along the coastal path to Coombe Martin and Watermouth. Gave our legs a good workout so we rewarded ourselves with a cream tea overlooking the beach at Coombe Martin.

    Disliked:

Didnt spend enough time in the Bent Peg so have booked again for September and will make sure I rectify that

Really lovely spacious fields. Very clean facilities. Nice bar run by the family who were so friendly.
Our bell tent was spacious and right by the lake which was just so peaceful and beautiful. Had a great gas BBQ with seating which we used often.

    Disliked:

It would have been great to have a slightly bigger fridge so that we could stock some food. Fridge was tine.
As the tent was so big it would have been great also to have some shelves or some storage as all bags, clothes, food etc had to be on the floor.
