Beautifully kept site in a great location to explore North Devon.
Camping pod (large)
Liked The pod was a decent size and had everything I needed including a decent sized fridge, comfy bed, power and lighting. There was plenty of space to park my car and also put a deck chair out. The site is immaculate with beautifully kept gardens and spotlessly clean facilities with plenty of hot water. Hele beach is just a short walk away and the town of Ilfracombe is 20-25 minutes walk. There are plenty of breathtaking coastal walks in the area and Woolacombe beach is just a 20 minute drive away.

Disliked As a dog friendly site, there's no dog exercise area, which I was very surprised at. Also disliked the shower block set up, water goes everywhere meaning you start getting water from cubicles either side, only 1 hook to hang items on and nothing to put your shower gels, etc on whilst in the shower. No on site shop to get essentials if needed.

From the manager: Thank you for posting your review. We can only assume that you did not discover our wonderful Nature Trail whilst you were here. Guests are welcome to use this facility, we just ask that dogs are kept on a lead. We are sorry to hear that you did not like the layout in our shower block, as the individual self contained cubicles are usually very popular with our guests. Thank you for your suggestion regarding somewhere to place shower gel, we listen to all of our guests feedback and will review this, should it become a regular suggestion. To enable us to support the local community, we direct all of our guests to the local shop in the village, which is around 5 minutes walk away.

This is a great site well laid out, managed and beautifully maintained

Mix of static homes, caravans, vans and tents.
New toilet and showers fitted and all well maintained and cleaned daily.
Also an area for washing dishes and a separate area for clothes washing if required.
Security barrier at the front of the park and security around the site.
Nature trail walk at the side of the park.
Plenty of tidy areas to dispose of waste.
Scenic and Quiet site.
Children's designated and fenced off play area.
Great location being a short - 25 minute - walk into Ilfracombe.
Hele Bay is just a 10 min walk away.
Local Bay Cafe at the bay with excellent food untill 5pm
Local pub even closer, The Hele Bay Pub - opens at 5pm, food 5pm onwards.

Fantastic location.
Disliked Bit tight to get a twin axle caravan in . ( but we managed !! )
