Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Fabulous 'wild' camping, just as I like it. Not sure I parked in the right field but it was at the edge, next van 75 yards away. Hot and roomy showers, didn't use the toilet.
Great views and everything you could need.

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Quiet rural setting, great view over the valley. Toilets fine and the shower was very hot and very powerful. There were many different insects but none of them bit me.

Beautiful, peaceful little sanctuary - my first choice of campsites!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Peaceful. Safe. Beautiful scenery. Hot showers.
Disliked I just wish it was open all year round! I’m doing a herbal medicine course and come to the area roughly once a month and was so pleased when I discovered Higher Moorlands Farm, but I’ll need to find somewhere else for my October, November and December dates :’(

Very picturesque & quiet campsite.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very quiet peaceful campsite, away from the main road but still very accessible. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the view was beautiful. The showers were lovely, very warm and clean. The town of Honinton is very easy to get to by car.
Disliked The fire pits available to rent aren't suitable for cooking on, so either bring your own, or a portable hob like we did. Be warned, as it is on top of a hill the wind can get quite strong, so I'd advise bringing some sort of windbreak.

Brilliant little campsite!
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely campsite, clear directions on how to find the site, sign in to the visitors book and choose where you fancy to pitch up. Great views down the valley, cold water washing up stations, hot water showers and compost loos. All very clean and well kept, plus great value - thank you!

Liked Well, what a great place to stay. Stunning views, a calm and peaceful situation. The facilities are well thought out, beautifully fitting for a natural stay; compost loos and a great shower, housed in a lovely wooden mini-house. Friendly people. Will definitely be back.
