What customers say
This pop-up campsite, set on a large, disused golf course, offers spacious pitches and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests appreciate the freedom to choose their own pitch, flexible arrival/departure times, and proximity to the River Teign for walks. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are described as clean and well-equipped with useful amenities like hairdryers. Recent improvements have addressed previous feedback regarding shower privacy. The site is praised for its value and welcoming hosts.

would stay again if showers were better.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Loved the grounds, so spacious, not a lot of wind, good views and peace and quiet.
Disliked the shower facilities. showers were cold, shutters instead of an actual door so privacy isn’t overly maintained. there was a hairdryer / hair facilities so that was a bonus. looks like they plan to extend so hopefully will be good in the future.

Liked A hidden gem! The location is simply stunning, peaceful and quiet with breathtaking views and plenty of open space.
Perfect for unwinding and truly switching off.
There are beautiful walks right on the doorstep, yet the beach is close enough for a spontaneous dip in the sea, the best of both worlds!
Exactly what a relaxing getaway should be. We will definitely be back!

A hidden gem of a campsite for a relaxing break
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked A fab pop up campsite! A stunning location surrounding by woodland and wildlife with a river close by. At night you can hear foxes, owls and deer and by day you see woodpeckers and many more birds! Super friendly owners who are on site if you need them but leave you to enjoy your time there.
The site is planned for renovation of a golf club and leisure facilities but for now, it makes the perfect spot for a relaxing camping trip.
The pitches are super spacious on a acres of land. Pitches are flat, well maintained and short grass. There is a lovely river walk available on site too.
There is a pub called The Manor Inn about a 15 minute walk away serving great food. You can cross the field to get there but it is a farmland grazing area or you can follow the main road.
This campsite had everything we needed and offered a perfect place to stay and explore the area.
Disliked The site does have toilets, showers and a washing up area which form part of an old club house which is planned for renovation. The men's and women's are in separate parts of the building and are spacious. The men's showers were often cold and the women's are in need of some locks on the doors as they are a little more open than most would like, however, they are perfectly suitable and kept very clean so offer what you need.
