  • Family-run Devon site just off the main road two miles from Dartmouth
  • Blackpool Sands and Woodlands Family Theme Park within 10 mins' drive
  • Spacious dog-friendly pitches; bus stop just outside
Coast walks, beach days, outdoor adventures, family days out… whatever it is that brings you to this part of Devon, you’ll have a great base at Dartmouth Caravan Park. This family-friendly site (which also welcomes your family dogs) is part of a farm that’s surrounded by the stunning south Devon countryside and easily accessed from the main road to Dartmouth. The harbour town’s shops, activities, attractions and places to eat are a couple of miles away, and there’s a handy bus stop just outside the site for easy trips to town via public transport. Dartmouth itself has plenty of things to keep you busy, especially if you take a ferry across the river to explore all the things on the Kingswear side as well. It’s far from the only option for a day out though – in fact, this area is pretty packed with things to do, with huge sandy beaches, a theme park, a zoo and the huge expanse of Dartmoor National Park all within a half-hour drive. And that’s before you’ve even planned trips to nearby towns like Totnes and Salcombe or the fishing village of Brixham. That’s a lot to fit in, so it’s good to know that Dartmouth Caravan Park is comfortable enough to settle in for several days, with spacious pitches that have access to wifi and a dog park as well as a clean modern bathroom block with accessible facilities.

Electric optional grass and gravel pitch

Liked: Love this campsite so much! It’s a small and quiet one without much entertainment but that’s what we need! The shower and toilet are so new and clean, always have hot water (that’s what we concerned the most when choosing a campsite).

A short drive to Dortmouth, 45mins drive to Plymouth and just 10 mins to Blankpool Sands Beach! What can we ask for more for a campsite like here?

*Thank you Abi for having us and reminded us our tent is pulled down by the wind when we were away. Sad we need to leave early but we have much fun here!

Disliked: Nothing

Electric optional grass and gravel pitch

Liked: A beautiful site. Our pitch was probably the biggest and nicest we'd ever had. Large hardstanding pitch with an additional grass pitch , complete with your own picnic table! Facilities were wonderful. Brand new, heated and spotlessly clean. Great views too.

Disliked: We like to park up the van and walk/use public transport. While the bus service is pretty good Monday/Saturday, the service on Sunday/bank Holiday is poor. As long as you can drive out or don't mind your exploration constrained to two buses a day, not a problem. We tailored our adventures to fit. The wifi is not good at the top of the field. But we managed.

Electric optional grass and gravel pitch

Liked: Brand new excellent facilities, good sized pitches with far reaching views. Proximity To Dartmouth Centre and very close to stores.
Friendly Staff.
I imagine next time we will have to book well in advance.
Although I didn't use it myself, I noticed a bus stopping outside the site entrance so Dartmouth centre easily accessible.

Disliked: You could easily walk to Dartmouth but I think this would need to be along a main road.
