Three Views Camping has some seriously scenic views in North Devon, 10 minutes' drive away from Exmoor National Park, Holdstone Down and Exmoor Zoo. Above a valley two miles from Combe Martin beach, you might be able to pick out Dartmoor, Exmoor, Lundy Island (a prime wildlife spotting spot accessible by boat) and even Wales across the sea. This spicy little spot is frequented by red deer, buzzards and kestrel (if you’re lucky enough to catch them by passing by). It’s a working farm too, so sheep, horses, chickens, ducks, geese, turkey, pigeons and more animals already stay here. While these animals are tucked away in the farm, the pitches are well-based to see the horses running around in the fields below. While it may seem easy to get swept away with the scenery or barbecues and firepits on site (they’re both permitted here), you’ll also want to factor in some real sea – and handily, Combe Martin’s beaches are 10 minutes’ drive away, where you can get some watersports on the go. In case you were already wondering where to source the snacks for a picnic or your barbecue, Combe Martin village is a 40-minute walk away, where there are food shops and pubs (including picks with a beer garden).
