This is a family-friendly campsite with beautiful views and plenty of space. Guests praised the clean, modern toilet and shower facilities, as well as the ample activities for children. The on-site cafe and bar were also popular. Some noted the remote location and narrow access roads. While generally well-maintained, occasional comments mentioned the need for updates to some play equipment and facilities.

Electric grass pitch
Liked We absolutely loved this site! The pitches are a great size and there is plenty of extra space for the children to play which is fab. The toilets and showers and clean, there are play areas for the children and ours also loved the little farm park area saying hello to the goats, sheep and cows. The added bonus of live music and a bbq on the Friday was even better for us parents! Would highly recommend and return!

Amazing place! Great value, really wholesome and family oriented.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Amazing little place! We live locally and did not even know this place was here. Booked on a whim as I fancied taking my little nephew on his first camping locally with the nice weather, and was so surprised with Farway… lovely little park as well as a great additional rustic haybale slide, trampolines and rope swing play areas outside the shop. They also had a live music event and a bouncy castle while we were staying so this was great in the evening. The farm animals were wonderful to visit and feed. The views were incredible on the lovely sunny weekend- especially at sunset with the live band and the bar on this weekend. The food was great, and all really reasonably priced. We had planned to venture to local pubs and beaches, but didn’t leave the campsite all weekend. The children loved that they could borrow the bikes from the playbarn - so wholesome seeing all the children having fun outdoors on bikes and scooters each day. The woodland walks through fields and meadows were wonderful too. The shower blocks were lovely and really well maintained- no cobwebs or spiders- which is impressive considering the showers and toilets are in a barn. And having proper showers with the sink and toilet in your cubical too was great. Really relaxed, wholesome family site. We will definitely be booking again during nice weather.
Disliked More variety in terms of food options in the shop or the pop up cafe. No food at lunch time, and no items to make lunches such as fruit, meats, sandwich things etc… if you are staying on a pitch with no electricity for a fridge, you will need to drive to either honiton or seaton to the nearest local shops. But this is only around a 15-20 min drive so not too much of an issue- we had planned to venture to local restaurants while staying here, but didn’t leave the park as the weather was beautiful and the children were having so much fun.

Nice site, but needs maintenance
Electric grass pitch
Liked Quiet site, good sized pitch, pleasant countryside walks and views.
Disliked Approach road very pot holed and bumpy, especially with a caravan on tow.
Lots of toilet doors and shower cubicles had bent/broken locks.
Visited Play Barn, but most ride on toys broken or in poor repair, general lack of maintenance everywhere - grandchildren only played for a few minutes in there, they were very disappointed!
Walking trails could do with clear signage....we got lost and ended up in farmer's field with no escape!

Great site with large tent pitches
Electric grass pitch
Liked We loved the on site cafe/bar. The tent pitches are really spacious which is always a bonus. We loved that the site allowed camp fires. Plenty of showers and toilet facilities.
Disliked We did think the cost to hire the camp fire is quite steep for 24 hours. So lucky for us our friends brought theirs so we just had to buy the logs.

Just a heads up, poor phone signal - not an issue for me, but very much so for my child

Nice site, missing the camping holiday vibe
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The camping field, showers were good
Disliked Being in a row of seasonal campers, hardly any were there so it was like being in a caravan grave yard.
