    This site is a very clean and well looked after. The toilet, shower and laundry facilities are excellent. We had a wonderful few days stay, and enjoyed the animals particularly the ducks who wandered around the campsite back and forth to the pond. There are also, goats a couple of pigs, two Shetland ponies and a donkey. As a previous review said there are crows, but they didn't spoil a minute of our stay and they are certainly quiet at night. Why book a holiday in the country if you don't like nature.

    Disliked:

    We cannot think of a single thing that we disliked.

From the manager...

Thank you for your review and for sharing your photos. We especially love the one of the goats against the sky.

    Disliked:

    In the middle of nowhere with nothing in walking distance, also no sleep due to screeching crows. Booked fir 4 nights stayed for 1.

From the manager...

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, as you arrived late in the evening and left early next morning you did not get the opportunity to find that we are;
within a 5 minute walk of a reservoir with scenic walks and cycle trails, fishing also available.
Within a 10 minute walk of an award winning farm shop.
Within a 35 minute walk of the National Trust Arlington Court House and Carriage Museum, with 20 miles of footpaths available, and a tea room to treat yourself after the walk.
We are situated in a rural area on a farm and there are noises from animals and birds however they do subside overnight and do not tend to disturb our guests sleep.
We are always available to help guests get the best out of their stay, it is always better to discuss any concerns at the time so that we can help to address them.

    Peace (apart from the crows! Lol) tranquility, the ducks wandering around. The amenities are fab, immaculately clean, terrific showers and even a radiator to combat the chilly mornings.

    Disliked:

    Just not being sure if we were setting up properly on the pitch, perhaps a little more guidance (if only a "map" left for you to collect on arrival)would help but the Mathers do a fabulous job to run a farm and still manage to look after their campers.

    Lovely, quiet location. Really friendly manager. Choice of pitch available on arrival. Farm animals aplenty: donkeys, ducks, pigs, goats. Superb shower and toilet facilities. Good walks in the area - we walked to the nearby reservoir and to the Farm Shop down the lane.

    Disliked:

    The nearby rookery could become a noisy distraction, but they do stop crowing at night!
