Sandparks offers a stunning location with beautiful sea views, a short walk from Widemouth Bay beach. Visitors consistently praise the immaculately clean and modern toilet and shower facilities, with many highlighting outdoor showers and charging lockers. The staff, particularly Sue and Gary, are frequently described as friendly, helpful, and accommodating. From the manager: Hi Carol,
Glad you enjoyed your stay. Sue and Gary make a great team who run one of the best sites in Cornwall on Pitchup as all these reviews testify. Sue is the smiler and Gary is the enforcer who would do anything to help you out if you asked. Again, as testified by alot of our reviews. Glad you will visit again though so you can get to know him better.

What an absolute gem of a site. Loved it and will be back
Electric grass pitch
Liked Location is gorgeous, onsite facilities immaculate, pub on site with amazing food and good selection of drink at a fair price. Amazing walking trails up the bude canal from rear of site. Take the woodland walk it's lovely. Onsite food van. All staff amazing and really helpful.
Disliked Absolutely nothing. We had one morning where kids started playing music loud, onsite (I am going to say maintenance staff) Sue I think the name was sorted it fast, not a woman to be messed about lol. But really nice when we spoke to her.

Hidden Gem, well run and lovely owners/wardens!
Electric grass pitch
Liked Great as always.
We have been camping every year since we came across the site 3 years ago, just for a stop over (we ended up staying several more days, and would not go anywhere else now...).
So easy to book and reasonable price.
The campsite is well managed, clean facilities, and although we had no need for them, had lovely extras (lockers for phone charging for people staying in tents), books and dvd's you could borrow. Lovely touch.
And the owners/wardens were lovely! Really friendly, professional with email responses, just a well managed campsite.
We asked for if we could have a particular pitch when we got there, & they were so accommodating.
Great addition with a takeaway van this year on site (lovely food)!
And finallly, great location with the pub next door if you want a sit in meal or drink, beach across the road.
Disliked That we could not stay longer.

Shower & toilets very clean, lots…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Shower & toilets very clean, lots of space to hang clothes/towels and toiletries in the shower. Well lit at night. Great washing up area, with shower cubicles for when you come off the beach. Wetsuit & dog warm shower down. Lovely welcome from the owners. We pitched far end and WiFi was still really strong. A little food truck on site in mornings and evenings was good. Good size pitches.

Cannot wait to return! Perfect location, friendly staff on site
Electric grass pitch
Liked The location to the beach couldn't be any closer! And as the site is above the sea, you get a lovely view from the van watching the waves.
Made to feel sooo welcome, guided to the area of pitches and told to avoid coned spaces. Seems someone was playing games though and had moved some cones but owner was lovely and we just shuffled over a pitch, it didn't make any difference to us. Very friendly, very clean site. Wish it was open all year because I'd love to return out of season rather than on a bank holiday. Busy, but didn't feel squashed at all
Disliked Really nothing to dislike. Such a lovely spot. Very flexible and nothing felt stressful at all.
