Liked: Wow this place really is amazing! This is a family run site through and through and the owners are the loveliest people you will meet who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They really are the heart of this campsite and are such genuine, kind and friendly people. This place is properly dog friendly and doesn’t charge for dogs which is a refreshing change! The views are absolutely out of this world incredible and you are surrounded by sea views and fields. The location to Cadgwith and Kynance cove is perfect. The campsite is exactly what we wanted - enough facilities to mean we can camp comfortably, without taking away from the beauty and rawness of what camping is about. No distractions, surrounded by nature with lovely people and epic views. We will be back for sure!! Thank you so much.

Liked: Absolutely brilliant!!!! Amazing sea views and the owners were so lovely and helpful. We got our van stuck in wet mud and the wonders were more than happy to pull us out with their tractor! There are lovely hot showers, a sink for washing up, toilets and they even wash your clothes for only £5. Very Dog friendly too! We have had such a lovely time and will definitely be visiting again!

Disliked: There was nothing we disliked, everything was perfect!

Liked: Everything! The warmest & smiliest of welcomes that I've ever experienced from campsite owners (thank you Kathy & Will!) who went above and beyond to look after everyone. The amazing setting with far reaching sea views. The back to basics camping in a field of clover. The added luxury of hot outdoor showers, compost toilets & a catering van. Stunning night skies. Easy access to the coastal path & within walking distance of Cadgwith. Within short drives of many outstandingly beautiful beaches and coves. I only stayed 2 nights but will be back!

Local attractions

If you’re still hankering after more sea and sand, there are two beaches (with pretty cool seaside cafés too) at Kennack Sands (10 minutes’ drive). And if you fancy a plunge or just a slightly more challenging dip, the local activity centre (10 minutes) will introduce you to the sea through coasteering, kayaking and paddleboarding. There are walks and bays all around the Lizard Peninsula, but if you want something a little different, you can stroll through botanical gardens at Trebah Garden (35 minutes). Head a little further into Falmouth for Pendennis Castle (45 minutes), a pretty mighty fortress looking out to sea. Big or small, kids are likely to find one of their favourite rides at Flambards Theme Park (20 minutes). If you’re willing to travel a little further, The Eden Project (an hour and 20 minutes) also makes an intriguing day out, as the domes are home to rather huge tropical gardens.
