What customers say
This is a peaceful, well-maintained campsite with spacious, level pitches, many separated by hedges for privacy. Visitors praise the stunning views and excellent location for exploring the area. The recently built, modern toilet and shower block is a significant improvement, offering hot showers. While the old facilities were criticised, the new ones are highly commended. The hosts are consistently described as friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Cream teas are a popular on-site treat. Minor issues mentioned include the driveway access and occasional noise from dogs. The campsite is highly recommended for its relaxed atmosphere and value.

Cracking little no frills, back to…
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Cracking little no frills, back to nature, get away from it all, site this one, but has everything you need. A warm and friendly welcome. Pitches are as you would expect with picnic style benches. We had a hard standing with electric and it worked perfectly. There might be grass pitches but I think they are in another field and there is a large field where you can pitch a tent.
The Ablutions are recent and in good order showers are hot. Fresh water is available and the Elsa point is as you would expect.
Very, very peaceful here and the views are spectacular.
Open all year round I believe and highly recommended. Especially if you are looking for something relatively remote but not too far from the rest of the world.

From the manager: Hi there
Thankyou for your review.
I don’t know why you didn’t report to the farm house and we would have done something about it . But it most be to far away to come to the farmhouse which is 50 yards away and you drive past it ever day .
From the owner
Really good space in a good place great value

Third visit for us in 18…
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Third visit for us in 18 months. Recently retired couple with twin-axle 8 ft wide Caravan and dog, Fantastic views over the river camel, very good quality site with excellent new shower block and flat hardstanding pitches. Very friendly and helpful owners. A pleasure to meet.
Lots to do. Designated dog walking areas around the farm. Takes five minutes to drive into Rock with the option of taking the ferry over to Padstow. Also, we like walking from the National Trust car park at Port Quinn over the hill to Port Isaac. Nice quiet site at beginning and end of season. Have not stayed during mid-season. very easy to access with a large Caravan.
Just returned home and looking forward to our next visit in spring 2026.
