  • Peaceful touring site in Three Burrows, with easy access from A30
  • A five-minute drive to St Agnes; 10 minutes to Perranporth beach
  • Gym and launderette on site; pubs and shops within 15 minutes' walk
Cramming in lots of Cornwall’s top days out should be easy as pie while staying at St Agnes Holiday Park, a rural spot in the little village of Three Burrows, about five miles from Truro. This central location, coupled with easy access to the A30, makes this a most handy spot for getting out to beaches, heritage trails and top attractions (both the Eden Project and Land’s End are about 40 minutes’ drive away, despite being at opposite ends of the county). Or, if you prefer, you could elect to keep things very local – it’s a three-mile jaunt to the coastal village of St Agnes with its rockpools and family-friendly shallows, or five miles to the gorgeous Perranporth beach for surfing, sand dunes and general splashing. And of course, the two are linked with each other and many points beyond by walks on the South West Coast Path. Whether you’ve chosen to roam far and wide or focus on the immediate surrounds, there’s a friendly base waiting for you back at St Agnes Holiday Park, where the friendly team keep a watchful eye over things to make sure all is going smoothly. Families, couples and dogs are all welcome on site, and there’s a good stack of facilities including showers, toilets, a washing-up area and a launderette with drying room. (And there’s also a gym, if the mood takes you…). Other bonus features include a play area, sauna, dog exercise area and dog shower. Another little bonus on the ‘handy location’ front? There are two pubs, a bakery and a well-stocked village shop within roughly 10 minutes' walk.

What customers say

This is a clean, well-maintained site with friendly, helpful staff and excellent facilities, including modern bathrooms. Pitches are generally spacious and level, though some guests found them a bit cramped. Location is good for exploring Cornwall. Some visitors noted noise from the main road and wind exposure, though recent reviews suggest improvements like new hedges. Limited toilet and shower facilities at peak times were mentioned, though the manager notes upgrades are being considered. Dog-friendly features are popular.

Liked Very convenient place to stay. Just 30 mins drive to every attraction.
Clean and spacious bathrooms.

Disliked Only got 2 bathrooms, and the toilets are in the bathrooms.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We’re pleased you found our park conveniently located for exploring Cornwall and that you enjoyed our clean, spacious bathrooms.

We appreciate your comments regarding the facilities. We have two spacious private wet rooms, each with a shower and toilet, as well as a separate accessible toilet. As a small holiday park with only 11 touring pitches, we find these facilities generally serve the site well.

Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future

Nice little site with a park for the kids and added facilities.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch (large)

Liked Nice little site, with added extras including a gym, sauna and steam room, we actually didn't get round to using these facilities but they looked clean and inviting. Pitch size was good, and there was a little park for the kids in the middle. All I would say is there is only two bathrooms and then a disabled toilet, at times there were queues for the showers and toilets so would be handy to maybe have a couple of extra showers. The bathrooms were modern and clean though.

Liked Facilities were excellent and very clean our site was spacious with everything we required for a great stay. Staff were lovely and helpful. There is a pub nearby which does food and on the way there you can say hello to the donkey. It was easy to catch the bus to StAgnes you can walk it but it's on the road and if you are not used to walking country lanes then catch the bus. All in all an excellent site will visit again.

Disliked If I had one criticism and it is only a small one the dog area is tiny however on the plus side it was shaded which was needed given the weather. On walking around we noted that whilst immaculate some of the pitches were small but the owners have done well with what they have.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your wonderful and thoughtful review We’re delighted that you found the facilities excellent and spotlessly clean, and that your spacious, fully serviced pitch had everything you needed for a great stay. Our team will be thrilled to hear your kind comments too!

It sounds like you made the most of the local area—and of course, no walk to the pub is complete without saying hello to the donkey along the way! 🫏

We really appreciate your honest feedback regarding the size of the dog exercise area and some of our pitches. As a small park, we’ve worked hard to make the best use of the space available while keeping everything peaceful and well maintained.

Thank you again for your lovely recommendation. We’ll look forward to welcoming you back to St Agnes Holiday Park!

Liked Excellent shower, bathroom facilities. Sauna and Gym all exceptional. Greeted with a welcoming smile and very friendly.
This is a lovely site, we enjoyed our stay.

Disliked Dislike is a harsh word, tbh. Our pitch was a bit tight, however we fitted on and all was well. The dog exercise ground, is purely there for your dog to go toilet, this isn't big, so exercising my terrier was a challenge as the site sits on a main road and can be busy and fast. We walked it, but you definitely have yo have your wits about you.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and were impressed with our shower facilities, sauna and gym. It’s also wonderful to hear that you received such a warm and friendly welcome from our team.

We appreciate your honest comments about the pitch and dog exercise area. As a small holiday park, space can be limited, but we completely understand that the exercise area may feel a little small for energetic dogs. We’re pleased everything worked out with your pitch and hope we’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon!

Liked Recover a warm welcome upon arrival and was given a welcome pack with a doggy tear bag for each of my dogs which contained a toy, treats and poo bags. Showers and toilets were immaculately clean no matter the time of day and the layout was well thought out. Shower area very large. Pitch was spacious and well maintained.
Breakfast in a morning and pizza in the evening can be bought at the onsite shop alongside a selection of drinks and can be brought to your pitch when ready.
Dog exercise area is very secure and there is a bench where you can sit and chill.

Disliked Breakfast was a tad expensive. Nearly £40 for a regular and a large breakfast with a Americano and a latte.
Free wifi very weak. Used my phones mobile data instead

Local attractions

The coast might be the first thing that springs to mind when someone mentions a holiday in Cornwall, and you wouldn’t be barking up entirely the wrong tree… there are all sorts of stuff to do that are centred around the sand and sea, from rummaging through rockpools or cave-hunting at Chapel Porth beach (10 minutes’ drive) to getting the whole family onto some surfboards to catch some waves at Trevaunance Cove (10 minutes). Surfing’s all the rage at the sandy Gwithian beach (20 minutes) too, but it’s in St Ives (25 minutes) that boat trips take the front seat, along with galleries, walks along the clifftops and some surf schools, a similar sort of offering to Newquay (20 minutes), which has a zoo, aquarium and surf schools, among other activities. You’ll want to time your visit right to St Michael’s Mount (25 minutes), as this historic castle sits out to sea on a tidal island. If this old fortress isn’t nostalgic enough, Lappa Valley (20 minutes) has steam train rides or Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm (five minutes) will help you to uncover the inner workings of a traditional Cornish cider brewery.
