Liked What an absolute gem - owners Claire and Darryl were so welcoming. A lovely camping setup, tucked away from the road on well tended lawns, nestled between trees and a field with horses and rabbits. All the facilities you could want and the glamping tents looked so nice (we had a normal camping pitch but the owners showed us around). Woke to the sound of birds in the trees. A short drive from St Agnes and Porthtowan - I came down the night before an early morning running race on the coast and it was the perfect place to get ready. The owners were super accommodating with late checkouts after my race so I could come back and shower and pack away. Would definitely stay again.

Bell tent
Liked Fantastic hosts - genuinely lovely and Daryl couldn’t do enough for us and advised us all the best places to go locally.
Yurts were lovely, very nicely set up with careful care and attention.
1. Location is key with every holiday and this site is located perfectly to access all of the Cornwall hot spots. 30 mins from St Ives and 30 mins from Newquay.
2. Alongside the Yurt we were provided with a shed containing all cooking utensils and a cadac for cooking. Lots of thought in this site to the finer details. Even a games basket provided in the tent.
Overall these guys are just getting started and doing a great job. The experience was fab and we couldn’t have had nicer hosts.
Disliked 1. I think it could’ve been clearer it wasn’t electric hook up as we brought a mini fridge to plug but realised we couldn’t. However there is a shared fridge in the kitchen.
2. I think it could’ve been clearer that there were only one shower as a result they limit capacity to 12 persons on site, but I feel this should be mentioned before booking. And the fact there’s another shower which is cold only. The clarity before booking would be good.

Liked We had a lovely stay. All the facilities you could need and extremely clean and tidy. Lovely owners who take a lot of care and pride in ensuring everyone has a nice stay. We camped in our own tent but the bell tents looked fantastic and more tempting for next time! Thank you for looking after us.

Liked Loved this place! Darryl and Claire were great hosts. Easy communication. Site was immaculate and really thoughtful done. Nice shower and toilets were super clean. Kitchen area was great with all the basics you need. Stayed here with my dog and they were super accommodating. Was able to borrow a surf board to take to one of the local beaches and they helped with some advice on places to go / tides etc. Thanks very much!

Immaculate, beautiful campsite with amazing hosts
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Claire and Darryl were amazing hosts, they couldn’t do enough to help. They were always on hand to offer advice about the local area and the best places to visit. The campsite was immaculate and very well kept, the facilities were by far the best we have experienced. The setup of the campsite is very pretty, especially in the evening sat in the cozy sofa area with the fairy lights watching the stars! The welcome pack with discounted local businesses were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend visiting the local beach St Agnus, with a great bar/pizza restaurant overlooking the beach!
We also thoroughly enjoyed visiting Healey’s cyder farm (Rattler), but being 7 minutes away, I’d recommend a taxi due to the amount of sampling on offer 😂
We look forward to coming back in the near future

Disliked Nothing to dislike about the campsite at all.
