  • Cornish pop-up site with ocean views five minutes’ drive from St Just
  • South West Coast Path 20 minutes' walk; Sennen Cove 15 minutes' drive
  • Large, off-grid pitches with simple showers; pubs five minutes’ drive
Go much further west than Ryn Gwari Farm Campsite and you’d be falling into the Atlantic. This pop-up site is on a family-run smallholding five minutes’ drive from the small town of St Just; it sits on a hilltop with far-reaching views over the ocean towards the Isles of Scilly. The family-sized pitches are spaced out across a two-acre field, and while you’re there, you’re likely to meet the dog, ponies and a very friendly farm cat. The South West Coast Path is handily only a 20-minute stroll away (or a five-minute drive if you'd rather jump in the car). With no electricity, this place ticks all the boxes for anyone who likes to keep things simple; it’s a quiet site designed for families or adults looking to chill and dodge the crowds. That being said, there is a communal firepit area where you're welcome to light a fire along with other campers; logs are available to buy on site, and there's scrap wood provided. To add to that, there's also a communal tipi with seating and a fire bowl for everyone to use (and shelter from the rain when needed). There are loos and showers in wooden huts at the top of the field, and water is available for the washing-up sink. You have direct access to the moorland behind the farm, and St Just has shops, pubs and cafés. If you need help at all, there’s someone around morning and evening to answer questions.

Disliked Toilet wasn't good enough, lose bog seat and a pile of rotting shite beneath you, no sink, bag of wood shavings to cover the shite, i couldn't use the bog and this was the only let down and the reason I left 2 days early

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked The sea views were outstanding, it was particularly good to see the solar eclipse over the sea. Toilets were composting, but didn't smell. The shower was hot. Close to fabulous moorland walks. Incredibly friendly owner.

Disliked Nothing.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch

Aucun service.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked We loved this site. It was exactly as we hoped; small, quiet but family friendly, low-key, with basic but sufficient facilities - the hot shower might not look like much, but it was great!

Great location for walks and local attractions.

We admired the fire pit but sadly there was a county wide fire ban.

The owner and season host were both welcoming and approachable.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked There was plenty of space on the site. They had a nice firepit available for use.

Disliked There was no communication from the owner, until two hours after us being on site. I had to speak to another couple who was on site to check we were in the right place. The facilities were shocking, the pathway to the bathroom and shower was overgrown with nettles and thorns, which would not be the safest for children to walk through. The shower facilities were not family friendly, they were dirty, rotted and there were areas which had been chewed through by what looked like rats. This campsite is not worth the money that was paid, I paid less for a campsite which had immaculate facilities.

Liked Brilliant place, great setting with lovely views in a special part of Cornwall. Fantastic sunsets. Composting loos were great and also loved the laid back approach and easy going nature of the owners who were available but not making their presence felt at all. Highly recommend
