This is a peaceful, basic campsite with friendly and helpful owners, praised for its eco-friendly vibe and stunning views. Visitors appreciate the clean composting toilets and refreshing cold showers, though some note the showers are only for the brave. The sloping field is a recurring point, with levellers recommended. Its location is excellent for exploring the area, with easy access to walks, beaches, and attractions. The site offers good value for money.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Simple and functional no frills stay
Disliked For someone walking by the south west coastal path it was abut of a slog off the beaten track (3km) around a golf course and through country lanes

Would be very happy to stay again :)
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Nice picturesque and peaceful field. Toilets and showers were clean. Plenty of space and not too crowded.
Disliked Can’t be helped but field is mostly on a slope (not ideal for tents) and not much shade to seek in this hot weather.

Very happy
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Warm welcome ,you can find your own spot and pitch up ,back too basic camping and that is very underrated reminded me of my childhood.
Disliked Peep holes in compost toilet ,felt a.bit vulnerable at night that people coming back at night drove around the field no clear drive path and with people just turning up and.pitching meant drivers have too be especially carefull ,one driver turned around near my tent and got a.bit close that is a personal opinion and nobody else may have noticed.

Back to basics no frills bliss
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Quiet with plenty of space. Mainly adults as compost toilets & basic cold showers prob not for families.
Disliked Sloping ground everywhere - not impossible with Motorhome ramps but guessing tents would have to be selective
Only having the 2 compost toilets might be interesting if it had been busier
