The central setting of this site will be hugely helpful for folks who want to zig-zag their way around locations on the north and south coasts… Flesh out that to-do list with fishing villages such as Charlestown and Mevagissey, which are both under 20 minutes’ drive from the site, or go sailing in Fowey, 35 minutes’ drive away. Your base is within 15 minutes’ drive of a handful of beaches, and just 15 minutes from The Lost Gardens of Heligan or 20 minutes from the famed Eden Project’s rainforest biomes. What else do you get here? Well, dark skies are one splendid aspect for stargazers. As it's south-facing, the site also has stunning sunrises and sunsets. There’s plenty of space for ball games across the site. Plus, dogs are welcome (for a small additional fee) as long as they’re kept on leads. Those views of the countryside are surely worth mentioning too – and as a proper rural setting, there are often visits from local wildlife. This is a real back to basics site, with just drinking water, a composting toilet and disposal points for chemical and grey waste. Large groups are welcome, as are awnings and extra cars – there's plenty of space here.
