Friendly, family run caravan and campsite located at Trevellas between St. Agnes and Perranporth, Cornwall. Spectacular sea views, wonderful sunsets, ideally placed for exploring all Cornwall has to offer. We have 60 pitches set around the edge of a seven acre field leaving plenty of green space to enjoy. We also have a separate fenced dog walking area and an additional recreational area with stunning coastal views. A spacious new facilities block is available with free showers, free hair dryers, toilets, family rooms, disabled facilities and baby changing. There is a freezer for ice packs, wet suit wash and outdoor drying area. A washing machine and tumble drier are available for which there is a charge. The family have lived at Trevellas for centuries and started the campsite in 1927, making us one of the oldest campsites in Cornwall.

Local attractions

Our local beach is a 10 minute walk down the road and has a sand and pebble beach at low tide with extensive rock pools full of sea life. Swimming is not recommended as there are no lifeguard services, however it is a popular beach for kayaking, snorkelling and fishing when the sea is calm. St Agnes is about 2.5 miles away by road, closer via the cliff path or over the rocks from Trevellas beach (when the tide allows). The picturesque village has an old church, a range of restaurants, pubs and cafes along with a good choice of shops, including grocers, green grocers, butchers, bakery, fishmonger (selling locally caught produce), newsagent and chemist and of course surf shops! There is a post office, cashpoint, doctors, dentist and even a veterinary surgery. Local arts, crafts and jewellery shops can be found both in the village and along the road to the beach. The local museum is free and has some excellent displays. St Agnes is a popular destination for surfers. It has four beaches close by: Trevaunance (St. Agnes beach), Trevellas (mentioned above), Chapel Porth and Porthtowan. There are seasonal lifeguard services at all except Trevellas. Perranporth is about 2.5 miles away by road is an about an hour’s walk from the campsite along the beautiful costal path. The 3 miles of sandy beach with seasonal life guard services make it a popular beach for a range of land and water based activities. There are numerous suft schools and places to hire equipment, wet suits etc. The village offers a full range of services plus numerous small shops, a supermarket, cafes, pubs, restaurants, bank, post office, cash points etc. The flat nature of the village with its wide pavements and raised crossing areas make it ideal for families, people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users. Should you wish to venture further afield by car, the campsite is ideally placed for accessing most places in Cornwall. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Maritime Museum, Tate Modern, Flambards and numerous National Trust Properties and gardens are less than an hour’s drive away.
