Set on the gorgeous Scorrier Estate just outside Redruth, Scorrier Estate Camping has a quiet four-acre field for tents, trailer tents and campervans looking for peaceful stays in the Cornish countryside. With its convenient central location just a few minutes' drive from the A30, guests at this spot can tour the length and breadth of Cornwall with ease and are an easy quarter of an hour's drive from gorgeous sandy beaches. The site has good basic amenities, with hot showers, communal washing-up areas and clean composting toilets. There's sure to be plenty of space here for families and friends who fancy ball games or barbecues on site; you're also a short walk from Scorrier House's gardens and special events (including drive-in film screenings). Dogs are very welcome at Scorrier Estate Camping, but please keep them on a lead at all times. Local attractions nearby range from castles to waterparks, paintballing ranges and surf schools – in fact, guests staying here are entitled to a 10% discount on tuition at Gwithian Surf School, plus another 10% off at the very popular The Mussel Shoal restaurant over in Porthleven's historic harbour, half an hour away on the south coast (restrictions apply).
