  • Clean, quiet, family-run campsite on the Land's End peninsula
  • On-site off licence, shop and take-away facilities
  • Close to coastal footpaths
Off to Cornwall? Fancy a lush Land’s End retreat, surrounded by spectacular scenery and with easy access to piles of crackingly handsome coastal footpaths? Give Treverven Farm Camping a try. This is a peaceful, clean, relaxed and family-run place on the Land’s End peninsula, hidden away enough to be a quiet retreat in busy summer months, but close to the beaches and towns of this part of Cornish coast. (Porthcurno is less than two miles away and Sennen Cove within four.) Along with its spectacular scenery and easy coast path access, Treverven Farm Camping has the Croust House kitchen and takeaway open in high season (please bring along your own cutlery and plates), and a well-stocked site shop selling all essentials from bread, milk and baked beans to camping gas and phone and laptop chargers. Chilled wine and beer is on sale too for evening barbies. The site also has a central play area with swings, a slide, a sandpit, basketball hoops and a football goal; modern toilets and showers sorted with hairdryers, and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

This is a well-regarded campsite praised for its stunning location and excellent access to the South West Coast Path. Visitors highlight spacious pitches, clean and well-maintained facilities (including showers with good water pressure and hairdryers), and a well-stocked on-site shop. The friendly and helpful staff consistently receive positive mentions. Families appreciate the children's play area. Electric grass pitch

Liked We had an Amazing stay - Beautiful site, great location, fabulous friendly owners. Facilities are great, showers so hot just what’s needed after a day of exploring.Great play area for children. We booked for 3 nights but due to a storm with hurricane strength winds we left after 2. Will definitely return for a longer stay

Disliked A little dark walking to pitch, could maybe do with solar lights in a few areas
Long narrow winding roads to the site abd beaches, you need to be cautious.

Shepherd's hut

Liked Wonderful family stay,
We absolutely loved our stay at Treverven Farm Camping! We had a wonderful 3-night family adventure staying in one of the Shepherd’s Huts St Loy, and it was the perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.
The Shepherd’s Hut was cosy, comfortable and beautifully located, and the whole site had such a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and we also really appreciated the little shop and takeaway and everything available on site.
The location is truly fantastic for exploring West Cornwall, with so many beautiful places and beaches nearby, including Porthcurno, as well as the coastal paths and other local attractions. We were especially grateful to our host for giving us such a fantastic location on the site, which made our stay even more special.
A very big thank you to the host and the whole team for making our family stay so enjoyable and memorable. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely love to come back again! ❤️
Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway in Cornwall!

Electric grass pitch

Liked I'm biased as I've been coming to Treverven for 51 years!
The site itself is spread over 4 fields; this means that the pitches are a good size, with lots of room for the children to run around or play in the on-site park.
Good amenities, lots of toilets and showers (with quite hot water), we never had to queue. There's a good shop on site, selling pretty much everything you need as well as some local produce. There is a cafe which serves good breakfasts and evening meals (this may only be open in the summer).
Several really good beaches nearby (Kynance, Godrevy, Sennen and Porthcurno) as well as Penzance, St Ives and Falmouth if you want to shop.
There is easy access to the coast path if you like walking.

Disliked These are not 'dislikes', merely observations.
There are lots of washing up sinks but only 2 inside, which is unfortunate if you are there in the rain but the water is hot and there's lots of it.
The WiFi can be patchy but there's a strong signal near the office with tables and benches provided.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Spacious site with large open fields with sea view just off southwest coast path, plenty of room in centre for supervised play for the children around the playground.
Very well run campsite, good facilities, great to have easy option of food kiosk and visiting pizza truck.

Disliked Hot showers were fine for adults, no temperature adjustment was difficult for children.

Local attractions

Treverven Farm Camping is in highly nifty locale for settling down among and getting to some of the most topping spots in Cornwall, away from busy tourist resorts but with easy access to some smashing beaches. Pednovander, Porthcurno, Porrthgwara, Porthchapel and Sennen Cove are all within five miles of the site; for evenings out, the Minack Theatre is three and a half miles away and two decent pubs are within two miles. Also within easy reach for day trips are magnif St Michaels Mount and Penzance, both within about eight miles. Miles of coastal path are around the site too: from Porthcurno past the Minack and via a couple of dog-friendly pubs, or along to the tiny fishing cove of Porthgwarra, a birdwatching haven where you’ll be able to spot gannets, fulmars and possibly a red kite or two circling round overhead.
