What customers say
This campsite is frequently praised for its exceptionally clean and modern facilities, particularly the shower and toilet blocks, which are described as some of the best seen. Pitches are noted as spacious and well-maintained, often separated by hedges for privacy. Guests consistently highlight the friendly and helpful staff. The heated outdoor swimming pool and on-site cafe are popular amenities. While most visitors have a highly positive experience, a few minor points include the cost of Wi-Fi, the occasional early morning noise from groundskeeping, and some guests wishing for more evening entertainment.

Well run camp with excellent facilities
Electric grass pitch
Liked The fab modern toilet and washing up areas.
Very helpful & polite receptionist and shop assistant.
People observing the quiet after 10pm rule.
Disliked Total loss of mobile phone functionality- not able to receive or make calls or get internet access (without buying provision).
Only one set of refuse/recycling bins, which were quite a way away from the bottom pitches & not on the way to anywhere you would go.😁

Lovely campsite with good, clean facilities.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely campsite with great facilities, handy & well stocked shop, lovely café, clean showers/toilets and spacious pitches.
Disliked The toilets/showers were quite a walk away from the top of camp, however, I did request a quiet pitch for the dog so you can’t have everything!
It is very close to the airport, therefore noisy from planes landing & taking off day and night.

Staff was great, toilet blocks clean, needs focus on dogs on leashes
Electric grass pitch
Liked Clean shower block, cafe food was good and reasonable price, the chef worked her socks off!
Pitches was a good size to
Disliked Pitches was at a steep incline which made it difficult to sleep / cook food, our pitch we had left us in the shade, leafs everywhere, my car was filthy by the end of the stay. Didn’t get much sun on our pitch at all.
Unfortunately even though the rules are keep dogs on a leash, many people didn’t do this which resulted in a dog actually attacking me (luckily they had a muzzle on) when reported this to reception they said they’d follow through, however 5 minutes later we ended up having the owner of the dog having a go at us stating I shouldn’t have walked near him, but to get to the toilets I had to walk past their pitch! Should have had the dog on a leash, no apology from him which did put a bummer to the holiday. We saw a lot of dogs off leashes so I believe wardens / security could focus more on this

Electric grass pitch
Liked Beautiful site with immaculate facilities. Pitches are well looked after. Lovely little outdoor pool and a shop. There is also a clubhouse that does different things on an evening and is open through the day. They also do different things through the week for the kids. They had a bird show whilst we were there (free) which had owls ect for the children to look at. This was our second visit and we will be back again. We absolutely love the place.
