Liked: Small, quiet site in a rural setting within walking distance of the lovely village of Marazion. Buses run regularly from Marazion. I enjoyed swimming in their small, warm, indoor pool. The showers in the ladies were powerful and hot but my husband found the men's showers to be very disappointing with little pressure. Friendly staff.
Disliked: The road to the site is exceptionally narrow and GPS does not find it. Ensure you follow directions from the campsite. There isn't room for two cars to pass for most of the way, so difficult in a motorhome or with a caravan.

Liked: The site and the people in charge ,and we loved the swimming pool.
Disliked: The shower controls were difficult to adjust and the shower head and hose need to be changed (legionella) could be present,I can see it on the shower head.

From the manager: We are very glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and would recommend us to you friends. Our showers are cleaned daily and on receiving this review management checked them and found them all to be very clean with nothing present on the shower heads or hoses. We think it is worth noting at this point that legionella is a bacteria that is undetectable to the human eye and grows in stagnant water, where the temperature is between 20-45 degrees Celsius. We do not have a water tank in our heating system, the water is heated only when the is turned and comes directly from the mains water supply meaning there is nowhere for the afore mentioned bacteria to breed. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Definitely worth staying here 😌

Liked: What a wonderful, small, friendly, clean and delightful site. 5 mins walk to the wonderful pub and into the delightful town of Maragazion. Walked to St Michael's Mount easily. Showers and toilets very clean with plenty of hot water. Little shop with basics. Kitchen and laundry area well stocked again with plenty of hot water. Wouldn't hesitate to come again.

Liked: Facilities
Disliked: Other than the the Two ladies we met in reception who were lovely, other female members of staff need a course in manners and customer care. Their attitude and tone to paying g guests was nothing short of despicable. From telling me the toilets were closed for cleaning so I was not allowed to use them to asking other guests whether they could read. I was nothing short of shocked. Had I been able to find another site after a 5 hour drive I would have left within the first few hours. Absolutely appalled.

Liked: The staff were super friendly. The pool looked bigger than I expected and I'm sad we didn't get a chance to use it as only there for one night. Showers were nice and warm, all over very clean, and a nice little shop. Short walk into Marazion, a little steep but not too taxing.
Disliked: Only 2 showers (in the ladies, I don't know about the mens). I took my time in the showers as there was noone else using them at the time and I must have taken SO long getting dressed because the motion sensor light in the main toilet area went off as no one else came in! Luckily it was a light spring evening so light was still coming into the shower unit area thanks to the main toilet area windows, or else I would have been in the dark. Not an issue if you're not a slow-coach like me, just something to bare in mind on a darker evening. I don't know if there is another walking route up from Marazion town to the Campsite, but the road we walked on was single track and no pavement. Luckily it's was an early spring evening when we walked it, and still light, but I would recommend something hi-viz if you're going to be walking up that road when dark. I think there was a small charge for WiFi but we didn't use it.
