What customers say
This site boasts stunning sea views and direct access to the South West Coast Path, making it ideal for hikers and nature lovers. Guests praise the clean and well-maintained facilities, including good shower pressure. The bell tents are described as comfortable and well-equipped, though some visitors recommend bringing extra blankets. A friendly and accommodating host enhances the relaxed atmosphere. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one guest noted noise from a neighbouring family in a bell tent. A food van on-site offers meals, though it has limitations regarding allergy catering. Some guests experienced discrepancies with booking prices, which were resolved by the host.

We had a great night in the bell tent at Belle camping.
Bell tent (four person)
Liked The bell tent was warm and beautifully presented with biscuits, tea and coffee and a welcome pack. There were toilets and a shower block with hot showers nearby and games to borrow. There was a food van with themed nights - it was pizza night the night we were there. Michelle was a friendly and helpful host.
Disliked Nothing!

Well appointed Bell Tent in Remote Location
Bell tent (four person)
Liked Really appointed tent that was very comfortable. We slept well!
Remote location.... peaceful... plenty of space in the field for kids to play and very close to the sea.
No wifi but we had a good signal for social media etc. Great butty wagon in the field 100 meters away.
We will be back for a longer stay... thank you

A nice spot, nice tents, do bring camping bits.
Bell tent (four person)
Liked A nice spot by the sea. Good tents, the lady that runs it is very friendly. There is a food van that serves meals on the camp.
Disliked Ideally the listing would say to bring a camping stove as the only way to cook is a barbecue. There is pots and pans and a kettle, but unless you buy lots of coals and heat things on the BBQ you can't use them. Bring extra blankets to pad out the beds and for extra warmth. The single camping beds are fine for smaller kids but wouldn't be great for adults. The food van cannot cater for any allergies.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
We're sorry to hear that our glamping experience wasn't what you were looking for. Our listing is intended to accurately describe the facilities provided, including that cooking is based around the barbecue as part of the off-grid glamping experience, and we'll review the wording to ensure this is as clear as possible.
Regarding the food van, we explained that due to the size of our kitchen and the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot safely cater for gluten-free dietary requirements. This policy is in place to protect our guests, regardless of the severity of an allergy, and we would never compromise on food safety.
The camping beds are also part of the glamping experience and are described in our listing. Unfortunately, one of the beds was damaged shortly after your arrival, but we responded promptly to resolve the issue.
We're proud that the overwhelming majority of our guests leave delighted, with many 10/10 reviews praising the unique glamping experience we offer. We understand that glamping isn't for everyone, and guests seeking the comforts of traditional accommodation may find it doesn't match their expectations.
We wish you all the best in finding accommodation that's a better fit for your future stays.

Liked We met Michelle at the food truck, petted the dogs and she shown us to our bell tent, it was so lovely, peacefully quiet and pure chill vibes! Showers and toilets are decent and clean, can’t wait to come back.
Food was good from the truck and they were able to go through allergies with us too!

The site is great, with lots…
Bell tent (four person)
Liked The site is great, with lots of open space, nice views, good facilities. The staff are really friendly, and it’s in a really good location near The Lizard.
Disliked We were there as a family, and were in the bell tent next to an extremely loud group. They were playing music, singing, shouting etc. constantly from about 7pm until almost midnight. We asked them to keep it down a bit but they ignored us, and there’s not much you can do in that situation. This isn’t really the fault of the site, except that if you book a bell tent then you have no control over who you’re next to and they’re close enough together that you’ll hear everything from your neighbours. So if you’re there as a family, or you just like peace and quiet, I’d suggest bringing your own tent so you have a bit of control over who you’re near. There’s a lot of space!

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback! Just to shed a little light on the situation — the noise came from the lovely (and lively) family with 6 children next door. A storm rolled in during their stay, so instead of braving the weather, they bunkered down with board games and some classic family fun. Think less wild party, more Monopoly meltdown.
That said, I didn’t hear anything from you at the time — if I had, I’d have happily stepped in to referee the game (or at least ask them to keep it down). Next time, give me a heads-up while it's happening — I can't fix what I don't know about, and I promise I'm better at handling noise than predicting it!
Appreciate you staying with us, and hopefully next time, the dice (and weather) roll more in your favor.
