What customers say
This peaceful campsite offers beautiful countryside views and a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors praise the clean and well-maintained facilities, particularly the hot showers. The location is considered excellent for exploring Cornwall, with easy access to local towns and beaches. While the site is generally well-regarded for its simplicity and value, some mention that pitches can be slightly sloped and facilities, though clean, could benefit from some updates. Adjustments to shower temperature are possible.

OK site but not sure we would return
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The setting was generally nice with good views.
Disliked The toilets weren't particularly clean - the sink wasn't cleaned in the 3 days we were there. We weren't checked in by anyone and didn't see the owners at all. Pitches weren't allocated and we think this caused a problem with others who returned to use the pitch we had set up in.

Liked Farm setting, cows in the field opposite. Peace & tranquility. Great pub up here road.
Disliked We were on a slope & I kept rolling off the bed on the night! Our fault, should have taken levellers.

Peaceful countryside site with clean facilities.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely peaceful camping field on a farm next to a cow field. I drove in and started to pitch up on a free spot and the owner Andrew found me and was very welcoming. Toilets and showers were clean and hot, not posh, but clean and functional. Tent pitch was on a slight slope. As a solo female I felt very safe and at ease.
It's in a really gorgeous part of the countryside and between Hayle and Marazion. Short drive to St Erth for the village shop and pub, and the train to St Ives or Penzance. Perfect spot really. Rather envious I can't live there myself.
I would happily return and recommend.
Disliked Nothing.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Great spacious pitches with the most beautiful views. Very peaceful. Facilities were great. Running hot showers and just a short stroll away from your pitch. A great middle base to go exploring Cornwall. Close to St Erth train station for a lovely train ride into St Ives. Would definitely recommend this site. Owner was friendly. Came over to say hello then left us to enjoy our break!
