Many folk who come to Cornwall seek a base for its north and south. And secluded is often an option too, given how popular the place is in the summer months. Add both those wants to splendid surroundings, a view over a grand valley, and the peace of the Cornish countryside… and you get Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site. The owners rightfully point out that this is a very pretty part of Cornwall – and the site's rightly pretty too, set over two scenic acres with a nature walk down its valley, through Bluebell Wood and to a stream at the valley's bottom. Firepits are available near the pitching field and in the woods. There are also showers, toilets and a washing-up area. It's only two and a half miles from here to both Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens, three miles from the nearest beach, and within easy day trip distance of most towns, resorts and attractions on the north and south Cornish coasts. A farm shop two miles away from Menallack Farm stocks a good range of local fruit and veg, free-range meat and poultry, bread, Cornish milk, butter and cream, homemade pasties, pies, cakes and quite a bit more. Beyond that, Falmouth is four miles away for supermarkets and the like.

Liked Erg mooie camping met geweldig uitzicht bij een boerderij.ze verkopen er ook hun eigen producten en die zijn erg smaakvol. Grote ruimtes met toilet en douches in een ruimte.

Disliked In het veld achter ons stonden heel veel schapen. Geweldig natuurlijk maar blijkbaar slapen ze ‘‘s nachts niet. Ik kon slecht slapen door het voortdurende geblaat maar mijn man gaf daarentegen nergens last van 😊

Camping pod

Liked We stayed in the Owl Pod and we loved it. All the basics you need including bedding so saves loads of stuff needing to be taken with us. Lovely touch with biscuits and hot chocolate, tea and coffee on arrival. The showers in the hut at the top were super powerful and hot hot which was great. Love the walk through by the pigs and ducks although last year it had more animals to see it is still lovely. I’d say the facilities are basic but functional if camping, the hut is great though. We were visiting our daughter at Falmouth uni so this is a great location for that.

Disliked Nothing really, just shower cubicles a bit tired.

Liked Lovely campsite with excellent hot and powerful showers! Everything clean, functioning, efficient and friendly, thanks.

Disliked Our only problem - which wasn't to do with the site itself - was that there was a regular crop scarer banging nearby from 8am and our dog is extremely noise sensitive and cowered in the back of the van the whole time we were onsite.

Liked Nice clear instructions as you come through the gate with your pitch number and a site map. Friendly owner ( came around the site with eclipse glasses so everyone could have a look).
Nice, clean toilet and showers with multiple blocks so not much queuing.

Disliked I prefer a pick your own spot in an unmarked pitches field. That however is just my prefernce and not a critisism. Not the biggest pitch but adaquate for a campervan and car.
