Beautiful family run independent site that cares about their campers
Electric grass touring caravan pitch
Liked Love the views and the little extras on site, including the fire pits and woodland walk.
Beautiful little family run site, they really do want their guests to have a nice time.
Love the showers and the kitchen room at the top of the main field. A proper shower!
We were in the area for a Falmouth University event and have used this site before. Really want to go back and enjoy just the site next time. Everyone was really welcoming and helped us when our tourer caravan had issues with our CO monitor was activated when we were out. They called us to let us know and they helped us out by checking we were OK and lended us another alarm over night to double check we were OK once everything was isolated, vented and safe to go inside.
The site is more rustic than those sites with a full kids club and entertainment. Rather light some wood on the fire pit and watch the sun go down over the valley with good company. It is a lovely site where you can get back to nature and spend some time outdoors, kids can be kids and play with a lovely field in the center for them, a woodland walk and a few animals to see.
It is located on a hill but the pitches have been leveled out and work well, pretty much each pitch on the lower field has a good view. The little meadow (first field on the right before the main site) as far as I can tell I more seasonal for tents and camper vans.
There is some work going on which looks exciting at the top of little meadow (next to the entrance), and there has been some huge improvements over the winter to infrastructure. Can't wait to see what happens in the future.
Definitely will be back, not just because it's convenient to Falmouth Uni Penryn Campus but because it's a little gem of a site.
Caution for those towing and larger vehicles, read and pay attention to the directions! We came from the top of Falmouth, up near Falmouth School/ Union road islands, took 3rd exit onto Hillhead Rd to avoid Mabe Burnthouse and Mabe Church.
Disliked We had to leave to go home for work and would have liked another night there.

This site is only worth about £8 a night, not the £28 they charge.
Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Nothing!
Disliked It's a field in the middle of nowhere! The showers were appalling, covered in mold. Seemed to be a few derelict caravans scattered around and a tent. I think I stayed for about 10 minutes. Very disappointed after a long drive.

Electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely friendly welcome from the owners. Beautiful location. Exceptionally clean facilities. Quiet site with ample space.
Disliked Signage on the way in was not overly clear but that might have just been our fault for not looking properly.

The post code did not take you to the site. Consideration should be given to a better sign as the one at the moment is quite inconspicuous.

Great site with good internet, level site, kettle and microwave.
Electric grass touring caravan pitch
Liked Quiet farm site. Level pitch, friendly hosts (onsite), good internet available at kitchen. Kitchen area was also some sort of common room, very handy for us on rainy or windy days. Kettle and microwave available in kitchen (big plus, as we did not know how rare that is in British campgrounds). No stove, no pots/pans, no utensils (as is normal in British campgrounds). Two combined toilet and shower rooms, paper towels provided (big plus), unisex. Extra toilet and showers available in second shower block being renovated. Power points for charging available in kitchen. Laundry £4.50, dryer £3, coins only. Hosts attended promptly to any concerns raised.
Disliked Showers and kitchen could have been cleaner
