Many folk who come to Cornwall seek a base for its north and south. And secluded is often an option too, given how popular the place is in the summer months. Add both those wants to splendid surroundings, a view over a grand valley, and the peace of the Cornish countryside… and you get Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site. The owners rightfully point out that this is a very pretty part of Cornwall – and the site's rightly pretty too, set over two scenic acres with a nature walk down its valley, through Bluebell Wood and to a stream at the valley's bottom. Firepits are available near the pitching field and in the woods. There are also showers, toilets and a washing-up area. It's only two and a half miles from here to both Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens, three miles from the nearest beach, and within easy day trip distance of most towns, resorts and attractions on the north and south Cornish coasts. A farm shop two miles away from Menallack Farm stocks a good range of local fruit and veg, free-range meat and poultry, bread, Cornish milk, butter and cream, homemade pasties, pies, cakes and quite a bit more. Beyond that, Falmouth is four miles away for supermarkets and the like.

Camping pod

Liked Gorgeous site with friendly host. Perfect for families, friends and couples seeking a quiet retreat in a beautiful location. Had a Kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and all you need. Even an air hockey table, badminton, 2 sets of showers which were in good conditions Cabin was so cosy and had we the best nights sleep on the comfortable mattress. Beds were all made up and cabin was fully equipped and clean.

Disliked There were no negatives

Liked We liked our stay here, the showers and facilities were very good. We would stay again. Judging by the place we have moved on to we will most probably be returning very soon.

Disliked Nothing it was competitively priced .

Liked Fantastic site with lovely facilities and froendly, helpful staff. Beautiful views from our lovely, flat camping pitch. Camp kitchen had lots of facilities and showers in the newer block are the best campsite showers we have ever used! A wonderful break away with nature, peace and quiet and wonderful weather. Close to Falmouth and lots of beaches and attractions.

Electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Lovely huge pitches, and we were allowed to come out as far as we liked. The first field only had one ladies loo, but it wasn't far to walk to the others. They had a kitchen area, which had fridge/ Freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and Microwave. The microwave came in very handy and was very clean.

Washer and dryer available.

The showers were hot, which was the best. The shower blocks were clean and the site was pretty well kept.

Disliked The dog that barked through the night for two nights, it was kept outside at the farmhouse opposite (not sure if they are connected)

Electric grass touring caravan pitch

Liked Such a great campsite ! Relaxed atmosphere . Beautiful spot with views over the hills and gorgeous hedgerows with all sorts of wild flowers . Facilities were great yet didn't feel like a holiday camp . Wash up facilities brilliant . Showers gushing . Owners across the generations were so friendly quietly in the background . Definately one to keep in the family best campsite book !
