Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site: Little Meadow pitching area

General

  • Secluded site with excellent views, set over two scenic acres
  • Within four miles of Falmouth, the River Fal and sandy beaches
  • Take the nature walk down the site valley through the bluebell wood

Many folk who come to Cornwall seek a base for its north and south. And secluded is often an option too, given how popular the place is in the summer months. Add both those wants to splendid surroundings, a view over a grand valley, and the peace of the Cornish countryside… and you get Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site.

The owners rightfully point out that this is a very pretty part of Cornwall – and the site's rightly pretty too, set over two scenic acres with a nature walk down its valley, through Bluebell Wood and to a stream at the valley's bottom. Firepits are available near the pitching field and in the woods.

It's only two and a half miles from here to both Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens, three miles from the nearest beach, and within easy day trip distance of most towns, resorts and attractions on the north and south Cornish coasts.

Menallack Farm has showers, toilets and a washing-up area. There's an on-site honesty shop selling a small selection of essential items such as bread, milk and butter, but if you can't find what you're looking for, a farm shop two miles away stocks a good range of local fruit and veg, free-range meat and poultry, bread, Cornish milk, butter and cream, homemade pasties, pies, cakes and quite a bit more. Beyond that, Falmouth is four miles away for supermarkets and the like.

Please note

Dogs are not allowed in the on-site accommodations.

No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Reception is closed due to restrictions imposed by the coronavirus outbreak.

Minimum spacing of 3 metres between pitches.

Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

All onsite food and drink establishments are closed due to restrictions imposed by the coronavirus outbreak.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.

Coronavirus update: please note that the honesty shop is not currently able to open, so you'll need to bring provisions with you.

Lovely pre pitched bell tent with a bed and pretty blanket, little table and chair and even a little shed with a gas stove to cook on and a fire pit! Couldn't have asked for more! You can buy logs from them and they even have locally sourced meats to cook on the bbq! Wonderful setting, beautiful and rural with lots of walks near by. Not far from the beaches.

Family owner are very friendly and attentive to your needs. The farm was simple with all the camping amenities you required. But what we really liked about Menallack Farm was it was very peaceful with good views and close to few places we've visited and supermarkets ie: ASDA, LIDL et. We recommend Menallack Farm and were happy to stay there again. Thank you Bryn and family.
