  • Friendly family-run site near the Lizard Peninsula
  • Coverack village harbour and beach under a mile away
  • Sports field, games room, launderette and plenty of space for play
'In a brilliant spot' is how a gratified former guest has described the setting of Little Trevothan Caravan Park near Coverack... this peaceful and friendly family park is secludedly set, but within easy reach of heaps of Cornish attractions: the Lizard Peninsula, Kynance Cove, St Michael's Mount, the National Maritime Museum and the Cornish Seal Sanctuary are a mere handful of top destinations easily reached from here, as well as fishing, surfing and swimming galore around the seas and sands of the south coast. Little Trevothan is among 10 acres of well-maintained lawns, hedges and shrubs, close to the coves and beaches of the Lizard Peninsula Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and 20 minutes' walk from the pubs, shops and shores of Coverack fishing village for swimming and watersports. The site has a family games room and a small shop (open during high season), and plenty of space in the sports field and playground for kids to run around. Among the amenities are a washroom block with toilets and free hot showers, a launderette with washing machines and dryers, and a washing-up area. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Spacious pitches - plenty of room for our 6m x 4m campervan and a large awning. Showers were ok and the washroom was very clean. Nice greeting at reception, recommended.

Disliked Bit of a hike down to Coverack, but we were walking the SW Coast path, so it didn’t really bother us too much.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thanks for the great review!

We’re glad you appreciated the spacious pitches - we try to ensure everyone has plenty of breathing room. It’s also wonderful to hear our team gave you a warm welcome and that you found the facilities clean.

Since you were tackling the SW Coast Path, we’re glad you took the "hike" to Coverack in your stride.

Safe travels, and we hope to see you again!

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Very warm and friendly welcome. Very accommodating, all areas were immaculately clean, lovely site. Theres a games room if it's raining, a big play area if you've got children and a dog walk area on site. Within walking distance of coverack. WiFi available but forgot to get password so didn't use it. Excellent value for money. The ska on the radio on Mondays made my day.

Disliked Was looking forward to an Indian takeaway on the Saturday but the van had a problem so didn't come will have to go again to test it out.

From the manager: Thank you so much for the lovely review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the warm welcome and found the site so clean. We pride ourselves on those little extras like the games room and dog walk. So glad you enjoyed our Ska Monday in the shower blocks - our favourite day too!

We were just as disappointed as you were about the Indian takeaway van - technology definitely let them down that day! We look forward to welcoming you back soon (with fingers crossed for the curry next time).

Liked Very spacious site with lovely clean facilities and very friendly hosts.

Disliked One tiny gripe - the shower heads could do with descaling.

We also really appreciate you mentioning the shower heads. We'll get those descaled immediately to ensure they're back to their best.

We hope to see you again soon for an even better stay!

Would certainly recommend.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Beautiful small/medium site with everything you could want.
As a dog owner I was delighted to see a raised dog washing site and 2 dog walking areas. Please though could we have a couple of hooks outside the toilet/shower block to attach the dog to whilst using the facilities ?
We stayed off season so was very quiet and extremely clean so can’t comment on the cleanliness etc in full season.

Disliked Nothing.

From the manager: Hi there, thank you for the lovely review!

We’re so glad you enjoyed the dog-wash station and our walking areas. We will certainly consider your idea of adding hooks outside the facilites for dog owners.

It was a pleasure having you stay with us during the quiet season, and we hope to see you (and your pup) again soon!

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Nice and quiet at beginning of season. Spacious marked out pitches for motor homes or caravans. Clean well equipped facilities. Great games room for kids with old style coffee table video games, pool table etc. Well stocked provisions shop.

Disliked Im getting on I know but thought it may be a little cheaper out of season.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the peaceful start to the season, our spacious pitches, and the facilities on site, especially the games room and shop.

We also appreciate your feedback on pricing. We always aim to offer fair value, and for your stay - £29 for one adult, one child and a dog on a hardstanding pitch with electric included - we feel this represents good value for what’s provided. That said, we understand expectations around off-season pricing can vary, and your comments are helpful.

We hope to welcome you back again soon.
