Wild camping in Cornwall tick all the boxes for you? Set yourself up at Rectory Farm Wild Camping, a pop-up site set in a spacious and nicely level field on an organic farm within easy walking distance of the Atlantic coastline. Sandymouth Bay Beach (lifeguarded in summer) is five minutes’ drive away for days rookpooling and splashing about in the sea, and Bude (20 minutes) has lots of shops and cafés as well as a natural tidal swimming pool. Your four-legged friends are welcome to join your adventures, with plenty of walking options to suit all levels of ability. The South West Coast Path is a mere five minutes’ stroll away, and there are shorter circular rambles accessed directly from the camping meadow, taking in a handsome church and the eccentric Hawker’s Hut, both about 10 minutes away on foot. It’s even quicker to walk to the local pub (less than five minutes), and the Rectory Farm Tea Rooms are steps away from the pitches. Please be mindful that there are no facilities except a portable loo on site, so come prepared with torches, banks of batteries and drinking water.
