Liked: Peaceful setting not busy so had plenty of room but feel when busy may get a bit tight
Disliked: Very minimal facilities which we were aware of but didn't see any staff apart from at reception when we first arrived. Don't feel they should charge for taking dogs as they have not specific dog field and no other things specifically catered for dogs

Liked: The Cornish palms; quiet pitches; check in
Disliked: The walk to Bude is across a very busy road and through an industrial estate. We could hear the road

Liked: Loved the palm trees. Great open space with loads of room to pitch up. Very simplistic set up. All you need for a great camping experience.
Disliked: Nothing. Not sure why this place has some bad reviews. It’s like they were expecting to stay at the ritz..

Liked: Close proximity to the beach, site was clean. Pitches sizes were big and lots of trees and bushes for privacy on pitches.
Disliked: Arrived at 12-30, immediately told we couldn’t pitch until 2pm. The site owner was rude and unfriendly. First impressions count. Basic facilities, expensive. Not family friendly, lots of site rules.

Liked: The facilities were brilliant and the layout was excellent. Lovely palm trees between the pitches
Disliked: Sadly we had some fellow campers arrive at 2240 and pitch up with vans. With it being a family advertised site I expected the quiet time from 2200 to be expected. We called the number to report the 6 vans arriving but were told that everyone had checked in. Luckily he parties were respectful when we approached them at 2300 to be quiet and they were all done and dusted within the few minutes.

Liked: We stayed in our campervan with a 3m x3 m awning. The pitch sizes are great, and the site is very well maintained. Pitches have palm trees and bushes, giving you privacy. The showers are lovely and hot, and they have a washing machine and dryer onsite that is paid for by card (contactless). Some reviews for Atlantic are pretty harsh. The owner is a man of few words, but I wouldn't put him down as being rude. On arrival he told me everything I needed to know, and gave us a choice of pitches. He also helped me when I asked about re-freezing ice packs (50p for 2). The ladies that were in reception were lovely and chatty and welcomed us with big smiles. The site gardener was also really nice and we had a good chat with him as we were leaving. The walk from the site to bude takes around 30-35 mins (not 20 mins) but is well worth it for the stunning sunset!!!! Remember this is a farm campsite......it's not centre parcs. If you want that then you will have to pay A LOT MORE. We absolutley loved our stay here, and next time we are in the area we will be staying for sure. We were concerned about staying after reading all the negative reviews, but there was no need. Its one of the best places we have stayed for the price.
Disliked: Not much to be honest. Toilets are basic but functional. Make sure you take toilet roll as they don't always have it available. No plugs in the washing up sinks, but we gave a foldable bucket which we used. That's about it.
