Great site. So peaceful.
10-amp electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked Loved the site. The peaceful surroundings away from the hustle & bustle of the main towns. Very clean and tranquil site that was perfect for our needs. We would most definitely stay again. The showers were really warm which is perfect.
Disliked We gave 4 stars due to the washing up areas being closed and only 1 sink able to be used. So we had to wait most days.
We also disliked other campers having no thought for others and leaving the toilets and shower areas dirty for others. Also if the hot water for the washing up areas could be hotter that would be great.

What customers say
This is a peaceful, clean, and well-maintained rural campsite nestled amongst trees, praised for its quiet atmosphere and helpful, friendly owners. Guests appreciated the clean facilities, including warm showers, and the site's excellent location for exploring the Camel Trail and surrounding areas. Some minor issues were noted regarding narrow access roads, occasional overhanging branches, and Wi-Fi strength in certain areas, but overall, visitors had a positive experience and many expressed a desire to return.

Camping pod (four person, superior)
Liked Friendly staff, easy to check-in and out, wigwam 3 was plenty big enough for 3 of us to sleep comfortably after a day of walking, good and reasonably priced selection of food and drink in the shop if we wanted. Great value for money too.

Liked Very established grounds with a decent amount of space between other campers. Lovely walk up the country lane, following the river. Also an easy drive to Wadebridge.

Excellent slight which was spotlessly clean
Camping pod (four person, superior)
Liked This was an absolutely fantastic camping pod. Staid as a lone female with my 3 yr old son and felt very safe. The pod, bath rooms and washing up facilities were spotless (and I mean not a spec of dirt or dust!), the pod was spacious, mattresses really comfy, quite location where you can go to bed/wake up to bird song, pod was lovely and warm thanks to the heater and the provision of an outdoor table with cooking space was brilliant. I have absolutely nothing to fault. It was a fantastic stay.
Disliked Absolutely nothing. Just remember to bring a torch as their is no lights on the paths so the tracks are dark (which looks amazing with the moon shining through the trees!)
