  • Family-run site in the grounds of a pub on Bodmin Moor
  • A short walk from Colliford Lake for brown and rainbow trout fishing
  • Pub with beer garden, playground and extensive food menu

Colliford Tavern is a family-run pub a few minutes' walk from the banks of Colliford Lake on Bodmin Moor. There's a peaceful atmosphere at this woodland location but as the site is just off the A30, Cornwall's main artery road, you've also got easy access to many of the area's towns and attractions.

Guests can fish for brown and rainbow trout at Colliford Lake (buy your daily licence at reception), and there are plenty of other activities locally, including walking or cycling on the moor or wakeboarding at Siblyback Lake.

You won't have to go far for eating out, as the tavern is open for lunch and dinner, with a wide-ranging menu of pub classics and a separate menu of traditional Indian and Bangladeshi dishes (evenings only). There's a games room in the pub and sometimes it stages live music and entertainment in the evenings. Outside you've got a large beer garden and a playground.

If you'd prefer to cook for yourself there's a kitchen unit provided for guests and you'll find a couple of supermarkets around eight miles away.

Amenities on site include a toilet block with a shower room, disabled toilet and a separate changing room.

The site welcomes single-sex groups, including stag and hen parties.
