What customers say
This is a remote, peaceful clifftop campsite offering stunning sea views, particularly at sunset. Guests appreciate the ample space and the freedom to choose their pitch, contributing to a sense of privacy and wild camping. The facilities are basic, primarily a compost toilet and a water tap, which suits those seeking an off-grid experience. The friendly and welcoming host is frequently mentioned. While some find the cost high for the limited amenities, the exceptional views and tranquil atmosphere are consistently praised.

Beautiful clifftop camping in natural site.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Wonderful open aspect views, the unlimited pitches, being allowed to have campfires, friendly owner. The site felt both very secure and very relaxed. Lovely natural site.
The nearby village (about a mile) has two small mini markets for basics and there is an excellent farm shop a couple miles away for fresh food, esp. good meat if you want to barbecue. Also a basic pub and a take-away food van (not tried).
Disliked One slightly noisy large group in one of the fields (not owner's fault). Nothing else.

Liked Great location , not far from London ,to Isle of Sheppy is about 1h drive . This camp site is like wild camping you can set up your tent near the cliffs or you can go near the trees and you have the feeling that you’re camping in the Forrest .
The host …. well she is half Welsh so she is amazing very friendly and polite we love the place definitely coming again .

Great location. Could do a facilities revamp.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Spacious campsite behind gate with a code. Secure enough behind a farm, not just off to the side of the road. Camp anywhere type of campsite, with options to stay on the open field, or on the woods if weather was bad. Easy availability of water too.
Disliked Dismal toilet. Just one composting toilet which I didn’t get to use because it was locked. No showers but that was already stated when I booked so fair enough.
