What customers say
This is a highly recommended, peaceful, adults-only campsite with spacious, well-kept pitches offering EHU and water. A standout feature is the large, secure dog field, praised by many. Beautiful countryside views and a babbling brook add to the tranquil atmosphere. The site is conveniently located for exploring nearby towns and attractions. While basic, guests appreciate the cleanliness, quiet environment, and friendly, unobtrusive owners. WiFi is generally good. Some mention occasional road noise, and a few note pitches may require levellers.

Expensive for a field.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Hard standing in a field. Enclosed dog exercise area. I can see how townies like being in the countryside. Given the weather we needed hard standing for a 4 tonne van so paid the extra ten quid, used one unit of electricity and put an empty milk carton in the bin. Saw Nobody.
Disliked Hard standing in a field, overgrown stream foreground. It has a decent outlook but nothing much else. Sorry but a bit of attention could make this site much better.

Tiny site without toilets or showers,…
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Tiny site without toilets or showers, so need to be self sufficient there, very quiet which is just what we wanted, well kept pitches with EHU and water, for dog owners the private dog field was a great feature, made the stay so much better for our pooch, Kirby Lonsdale 10 minutes away, lovely little town with lots of shops and places to eat.

Decent enough site if you’re completely self contained.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Very basic site in beautiful surroundings
Disliked Most pitches require levellers. We managed without, but we were the only one and we did mind being slightly on the wonky side!

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Piece and quiet, lovely views, easy access and exit, firm track, level pitch, short walk to local shop/ post office/ bus service.
Disliked No notice about grey waste, seen visitors put in toilet tank and one emptied into ditch. Clarity would be welcomed.
