  • Luxury ensuite glamping pods on a working sheep farm in Lancashire
  • A 25-minute drive from Lancaster and Kendal
  • Cosy accommodation with own bathroom, kitchen and underfloor heating
Keer Valley Glamping is a peaceful site hidden away in the Lancashire countryside within easy driving distance of the Dales, Lakes and the west coast of England. These pods are an excellent choice for families and couples looking for rural breaks. Each unit comes equipped with its own kitchen (with a breakfast bar, induction hob, fridge, toaster, kettle etc. coming as standard) and bathroom (with an ensuite shower, toilet and heated towel rail). The pods have proper beds, underfloor heating to keep you cosy and warm, and outside there's private parking, a stone-built barbecue/firepit and a private decking area for your group's exclusive use. Keer Valley Glamping is in Arkholme-with-Cawood, a rural area approximately 10 minutes' drive from the small market town of Carnforth. Head into town to pick up supplies at local shops and supermarkets, to enjoy peaceful waterside walks along the Lancaster Canal or to take advantage of Carnforth’s railway station and catch trains south towards Lancaster and Morecambe or north into the gorgeous Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and beyond.

Hare Meadow camping pod

Liked: We had a wonderful 2 night stay during the Easter holidays with our young children aged 2 and 5. They both loved the sleeping arrangements and actually slept through the night! The oldest usually creeps in our bed so maybe a built in bunk bed is just what we need at home! The pod was spotless and had bread, milk and biscuits which was a nice touch. The children enjoyed the play area and were thrilled there were so many lambs on the field next to the pod. It is in a great location with supermarkets a short drive away for anything you may need. We visited a farm and soft play which was great value for the kids.

The hosts were lovely and we would definitely return.

Pheasant Field camping pod

Liked: Beautiful setting, lovely clean pod with everything you need. All the great things about camping (bbqs, eating outside, in nature) without the drawbacks (being cold, no showers, no electricity). The beds are very comfortable. We loved our stay, Danielle left us bread, biscuits and milk and there’s tea and coffee in the pods. Everything is very clean and new. We used the BBQ pits each night but there was an oven and induction stove as well. Only slight drawback is there isn’t much storage or hooks to hang things on.

Pheasant Field camping pod

Liked: We had a lovely stay. The pod was beautifully done, with everything you could possibly need. The information left was very helpful and the essentials such as sugar, tea, coffee, milk and bread was a nice surprise. The farm is in a great location, peaceful but with lots to explore locally too. The children enjoyed using the play equipment, and loved that they could see the lambs in the field next to us. We would definitely return.
